Yes, we’d love to build one! We’re currently focused on polishing the mobile app first, but a browser / web version is already on our roadmap.

How login works
The login is only for your InsightTube account, so we can save:
Videos you’ve processed
AI summaries, subtitles, chapters, etc.
We do not connect to your YouTube account.
InsightTube only works with the videos you view in the app — your account is used purely for saving what you generate inside the app.

Been drowning in YT tutorials lately. 2hr videos, zero notes. This looks like a sane way through: summaries, quick chapters, subs. Can it chew through long livestreams too? Installing—will poke at my backlog tonight.

@alexcloudstar Yes, InsightTube can handle videos up to 2 hours long without subtitles, and it also supports recordings of live streams!
I've been going through the hassle of copying the video link and pasting it in gemini every time so I always thought something like this would be handy. Gotta give it a go!

YouTube is amazing for learning but impossible to keep up with. InsightTube feels like the missing layer that turns videos into actual study material. Does it handle super long content too, like 3–4 hour deep-dive lectures or podcast videos?

Right now, InsightTube supports videos up to around 2 hours, so feel free to try it with lectures or podcasts within that range.
We’re watching how users interact with long-form content, and if the demand continues to grow, extending support to 3–4 hour deep dives or longer is definitely something we’ll support.

Do you have plans to roll out a desktop web version later on? I mostly watch longer tutorials on my laptop (not my phone), so being able to pull up InsightTube right in my browser (instead of switching apps) would make this even more seamless for my daily learning workflow. Also—any thoughts on integrating with note-taking tools like Notion, so I can dump those summaries or key chapter points directly into my study docs without copying and pasting?

We’ve heard similar requests for a desktop / web version, and it makes a lot of sense for long tutorials on a laptop. We plan to support a browser experience in the future so it fits more naturally into your workflow.
One-click export is also a great suggestion — sending summaries and chapters directly into notes without copy-paste.
