Brilliant pivot and I think you're really on to something - Curation hasn't reached it's peak yet I believe and it will only become more important in a world where the noise is increasing by the minute. Plus, email is surely not dead but people want to decide what they receive, so the voting on Inside is a great addition. Love it!
Biggest win here is fixing the incentive problem that exists with most media/publications today.
Content and quality is #1 priority for the Team at Inside.
Hey Jason, big fan of the Launch daily newsletter.. Saves me from checking all the news sites for updated news in tech. A bit off topic... How do you see paid engagement evolving within newsletters? More through banner ads or sponsored news stories? Thanks! 😀💯
@mrsharma we're looking to roll out a patronage model where 100% of contributions go straight to the writers. We think between 1 and 5% of people are willing to put up a few bucks a month for great content – and the ads/partnerships can drive Inside's revenue.
@stefanozorzi we've found a lot of success in doing curation internally – we have an allstar editorial team that has dialed in the process and can go several step farther than just grabbing interesting links – they offer concise summaries, community synthesis, analysis, contextual links, etc.

Nice @jason! I signed up. Couple of things—my email address when I entered it from my iPhone defaulted to an initial capital letter. Also, is there a search feature to see what categories exist?
