CRM for hiring - glad to see google jump into this... the downside is SaaS is being whaled to death. Smaller shops just cant compete with these juggernauts right? I don't know?

@samir_doshi Lots of space for Google in the SMB Market. There are over 100 ATS platforms out there. They'll start by eating share from those first. I also expect some consolidation in the market in the coming years amongst bigger players.
Thank you @arlogilbert, surprised @chrismessina and @rrhoover didn't call out as well. If goal of product hunt is to discover new products not sure how Amazon and Google making up up 3 of top 5 makes sense.
@brentskeez I hear you although products are ranked based on the community's upvotes and ultimately, big companies like Amazon and Google make up a very small % of the products launch on Product Hunt.
@rrhoover Good to hear yesterday large companies aren't given disproportionate weight. I'm probably a little biased and frustrated as they knocked HappyMeter out of the top 5 yesterday 😉.

I think this is a no-brainer for SME/SMBs. It will be interesting to see if any major Enterprise Companies take a risk on this. I assume Google themselves will be using or have used as part of the development process. One thing that all tools have struggled with in the hiring category, which is very different from so many others, is compliance.

We were not going to open our 'Jobs as a Service' API up until Q4 but are now launching it due to small companies and job boards not being given access to their tech. Individuals need the niche offerings, as well as our Fortune 500 companies so they definitely are making things move in the job market. It's helped ThisWay in many ways.

Why do so many companies, now including Google have a non-world wide policy? | "Hire is currently available only to organizations based in the United States"
