Google Trends is great, but it falls short in so many ways, like lacking search volume numbers or even a good way to discover new trends. We've spent the last 3 years at Glimpse investing heavily in our trend tech and are releasing it today atop Google Trends.

Have been a sub to Glimpse for a couple years now. I'd be shocked if the open rate on that email was anything lower than 90%. It's fantastic. Just like this drop. It fills every core gap that GTrends has missed and more. Highly recommend!

This is really really cool! Would love to understand a little more your methodology... what is the source for where the absolute volumes are pulled from?

Great tool for enhancing Google Search Trends. Ripped jeans and skinny jeans are on their way out according to my Glimpse aided search trend analysis. Better pick up some bell bottoms next time you’re shopping for pants!

What do you think about using this in conjunction with Breakout List? It seems to have a lot of the same properites in that you can find hot startups before they're widely known. I think, as a data point, breakout list had DoorDash, Lyft and AirBnb all listed when they were less than a couple hundred employees.
Curious, do you have a data API that I can ping? Used this a few years ago:
