I've always been curious about emerging behaviors and nascent trends. That's one of the inspirations for starting Product Hunt. What niche topic are you obsessed about right now and why?
A signup tells us someone was interested, but it doesn't tell us whether they reached the part of the product that helps them. A user might leave because they got confused, or simply because the product wasn't right for them.
I think a short conversation with someone who didn't finish onboarding could reveal more than a funnel number alone. But it can be hard to get a reply from someone who has already left.
How have you found the point where new users get stuck? What did you change after finding it?
Getting early customers for your product isn't easy - they need to buy into your vision and get a ton of value from your product. Let me know if you have any inspiring (or lucky ) stories about how you attracted and closed on your first paying customer!
Hi everyone, I've been an active part of this community for a long time (no joke, you can check the streak page ) So why do we love Product Hunt so much? I would like to summarize the reasons that come to my mind, and please share yours as well. Last Thursday, we launched Free Keyword Generator (https://adsby.co/free-keyword-ge...), which is a side project of our new brand Adsby, and it became the product of the day. If I were to summarize what contributions this community had during this launch: - Visitors from 103 different countries came to our site and tested our product.
- They provided excellent suggestions for improving the product. (There were really great suggestions, some of which we will definitely implement)
- They reported small bugs we hadn't noticed, allowing us to fix them promptly.
- We received over 300 comments, and most of these comments were so inspiring that they provided significant motivation for the new product we are developing (Adsby). In short, thanks to this wonderful community, as product developers, we've seen substantial contributions in terms of feedback and motivation on this challenging journey.
