What are your top resources for being on watch of AI?

What helps you quickly navigate the world of AI?

I caught the latest news about AI from:

For me honestly, I’d say it’s X and LinkedIn. I wish I can get my feed much more curated though so it’s heavily focused on what enables me grow and make informed decisions.

 Usually, after a couple of minutes, large messages immediately post about the changes that were made. I think this happens on all social platforms.

 I'm pretty much the same. I did create a news aggregator at but I need to do more work on the pipeline to increase the quality of articles chosen.

 Thanks! I built it with a few AI tools (Claude Code/Web, Codex, Gemini) and it is 100% hosted and runs for free on Github Pages. All of the daily AI tokens come from the daily free tier limits of several providers (Groq, etc). There's a lot more I can do, but this was a fun start.

Same, and I'd like to follow builders, not just commentators. The signal is sharper.

 the wave of commentators is terrifying, like comment on anything to grow the account... I mean numbers are good though but... I guess it's the hustle anyway.

 Honestly no specific account I depend on, the alog pushes bits and pieces to me and then if something piques my interest I just drill down. Apologies for responding so late every one. Our launch is on going and it's been a really long day.

If we’re talking about AI, for me there are only two reliable options.

Twitter/X. There are 3–4 accounts that are constantly up to date. I can recommend the following users who create great content and are always current: and .

Newsletters. There are 4–5 newsletters that come out daily with everything new and relevant. Of course, and . The latter especially also includes cool analyses, so I seriously recommend it.

If we’re talking about tools, of course, Product Hunt.

mine is my team, we daily discuss AI news, so it's inevitable to know all the buzz news, even if you are not following anything yourself ;) I love it. The second is Reddit, my absolute favourite platform conserning everything related to AI and SaaS in general. I usually read r/ChatGPT because it's not only about LLMS but covers lots of other AI topics, and I really love r/HiggsfieldAI, because the community shows new possibilities in AI video generation.

 This is so cool, definititely will have a look at Reddit (Hopefully, they will not kick me out from their subreddits) :D you know, it is harsh :D

I’ve found a mix works best — Hacker News for early signals, Product Hunt discussions for builder opinions, and then one or two deeper sources like newsletters or podcasts for context. Pure news moves fast, but commentary from people actually building with AI usually ages better.

I use twitter mostly but I kinda hate it.

At this point I should build an arxiv watchdog and a bot that keeps an eye on the market.

Scrolling hurts the soul.

I used to be on TechCrunch, Gizmodo, etc, but I got really annoyed with the smug, arrogant writers and commentators. I used to comment regularly, but then stopped. Eventually I just quit visiting altogether. I may need to give them another try.

 I am here for the same reason, honestly. I found some people artists in AI, but it is not completely what I am trying to follow.
