MCP Servers - Anyone else in the rabbit hole?

Found about MCP servers earlier this year, but only the last few weeks im getting my hands dirty with them. Im doing things with Typescript and Im struggling with integrating custom clients with mcp servers. Is anyone going through the same path?

PS: Im not asking about building an MCP server or connecting it to Claude Desktop, Cursor or something like that. That is easy, and Youtube is packed with videos about it. Im talking about custom frontends/clients and how to easily integrate them with MCP servers.

How do you balance marketing and self-advocacy against your personal brand and reputation?

I think a lot of the PH community can relate that we have a lot of pride in our projects/software and want as many people as possible to see and use it. As a result, we often self-promote across platforms like Reddit, LinkedIn, X, etc.
On the one hand, I call this self-advocacy, because no one else will post about you and what you've dedicated hundreds of hours to. On the other hand, self-promoting too much can lead to reputational harm, getting marked as a spammer, and being lost in the sea of other "self-promoters."
How do you find this balance? I think I tend towards being too conservative. Any tips on successfully getting your message/product out there without being a shill?
Final thought: it feels like self-promotion is okay for already successful companies, but up and comers are seen as spammers. Bit of a catch 22?

Quick question for SaaS founders: How do you figure out why trial users don't convert?

I'm talking to founders who struggle with trial-to-paid conversion. Most of the ones I've chatted with say the same thing:

"We get signups, but users go quiet after a few days. We have no idea what went wrong until they're already gone."

Startups Are Ditching Waitlists. Smart Move or Missed Opportunity?

Hello PHers :)

I ve noticed a growing trend: more and more early-stage startups are skipping the classic "waitlist" launch and going straight to open access. Some argue it's more authentic and helps get traction faster. Others say waitlists build FOMO, gather valuable user data, and give time to polish the product.

Curious what the community thinks.

You launched and won. Your dream VC wants your data room. What’s inside?

Your launch is live. Traction is real. Momentum is building. You ve pitched investors, calls went well and then your dream VC calls. They love what you re doing. They re interested.

They end with: "Great product. Can you send over the data room?"

Anyone else experiencing this issue on the PH mobile app?

Lately, I ve noticed that some of my replies to discussions don t show up on the mobile app meaning no responses, no engagement, nothing. At first, I thought it was just a mobile issue, so I switched to desktop. But even here, it s the same thing. Is this happening to anyone else, or is it just me? Would love to know if others are facing this too. I really want to see (and be seen in) discussions!

How to know if a problem is worth building a product around?

Ever been so annoyed by a problem you thought someone needs to fix this ? That s where a ton of great products start. However how do you really know whether this frustration is worth building a product around, or if it's just a personal annoyance?

This was the first question @mwamedacen and I asked ourselves when we considered launching 1Stroke - an AI tool that generates and rephrases smart replies anywhere on the web with just a right-click.

Our pain point? We used to spend hours writing and rewriting professional emails and social media content, only for them to be read in mere seconds.
