Question: How do you know when you're collecting too much feedback to actually make progress?

We used to think getting more user feedback was always a good thing for building a better product.

Turns out when every user asks for completely different features your roadmap just becomes a messy list of random favors.

Trying to fix everything for everyone breaks the original vision.

How do you guys decide which user requests to ignore completely without feeling guilty?

I try to see if the request fits what we're building. If it taks us too far from that ill probably leave it out.

I'd check how many users actualy have the same issue. One strong request doesn't always mean everyone needs it.

I feel a little bad ignoring feedback. But staying focused is better than adding something just because one uers asked for it.
