Do you think we will ever shut down AI?
People often say that "the genie is already out of the bottle" and can't be put back in.
But the news that Anthropic made its latest model unavailable across Europe shows how control over technology, or the lack of ownership of it, can completely reshape the playing field.
At the same time, surveys suggest that only 16% of Americans believe AI will bring positive change.
I am trying to outline that at some point we can perceive AI as invasive and we will decide to shut it down.
Do you think there could come a point where humanity tries to shut AI down?
In what hypothetical scenario do you think that would be most likely to happen?

I dont think AI will ever gonna be shutdown..I think we will 'grow' around it and become better year by year, generation after another. So in future..expect at flying cars teleportation and all this awsome things with AI involved in this.
shutting it down is not the question. the question is what we anchor the credentials to once AI can fake everything else. that is the design challenge. a peer signature with reputational cost. a customer countersignature anchored to a real outcome. AI can write the resume. AI cannot manufacture a real human signature with real career risk attached. that is the new credential layer. building TAM Network for exactly this.
shut down completely? no. regulate heavily? probably. the Anthropic Europe situation shows that the real risk isn't humanity deciding to stop AI, it's governments deciding who gets access to it and who doesn't. the 16% stat is interesting but I think most people are scared of AI they don't understand, not AI they actually use. once you've used it to solve a real problem in your workflow you don't want to go back. the genie isn't going back in the bottle but the bottle might get a lot of new rules about who can open it
In my opinion,no..I dont think we ever shot down AI,but I think we gonna evolve togheter and make this AI better and better. The only hope is what the future its gonna bring, not next month or next year..but the generations who will be after as.Now AI already helping us in so many things..like us..like myself who I build this WeeklyWrap with the help of AI,whos helping other people making money, helping people so as far we keep this AI short and dont "have a thinking of they own" we good.We will see what future brings tho.
I don't think a total shutdown is possible because the economic incentives are just too massive. AI is already becoming too deeply embedded in global supply chains and B2B infrastructure. The only scenario where it gets heavily restricted is a catastrophic, AI-driven cyberattack on financial systems that forces governments to pull the plug on public APIs.
