Please meet Design Tools Weekly, your email course to learn new design tools every week. This project means a lot for me… 🧠 I wish to be a better version of myself, learn more and create really useful products. Luckily, when you’re working in design & development space, you have so many opportunities and tools to fulfil your dream. Even too many! 😱 You can find dozens of tools for wireframing, mocking, prototyping, designing, coding… So hard to keep track of them! But a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. And every week you can take a step in learning new tools and becoming a better version of yourself. That’s the main goal of Design Tools Weekly, that’s its mission. I hope, it will help thousands of people like me to learn more in a structural simple way.
Great job 🙌 What's next on the roadmap?
thanks, Jonathan. I loved that you asked this 😍 We're working on a super huge research... How Design Companies Build Communities. It will mention all community building tacking + great examples from popular design companies. Should be very-very interesting.
Sounds fantastic, looking forward to it!
I have been working in the design & development industry since 2015. So I saw how these communities evolved and we build community for as well. This research fascinates me a lot.
congrats , look forward to reading :D!

Kudos to all creative community on Product Hunt. I'm one of the makers here and co-founder of , and many other tools our team is building 😃 As a developer in a first place, I also do all our product designs. And for me it's critical to work fast with the most appropriate design tools. While our design market propose more and more new tools, it become so hard to choose one. This newsletter, Design Tools Weekly comes to solve this problem for me and other makers.
Wow, it's really cool! How do you plan to group these design tools?
thanks for the question! Design tools are grouped by the task: tools to work with color tools to work with font ... tools to hand of design to developers tools for design systems So you will get around 10 tools in every email, weekly. That allows to learn something new with a comfortable speed.
any tools for beginners?
absolutely! We mixed design professional tools and tools for beginners. Also, we included learning guides to make it easier to begin.
it'd be pretty cool to separate tools for professionals and beginners. So every group knows which tools are for them.
actually, a good idea! thanks!!
Weekly newsletter with design tools sounds great! Congrats! :) The content will be curated by your team or there will be wider collaboration with design community?
thanks for supporting us :) We will add 10 tools from open-sourced repo Awesome Design Tools. How we will choose those 10 tools? It will be based on the reviews and feedback about those tools, also it should be something we'd love to use ourselves.
for example if the tool is super expensive, while there are cheaper but equal alternative, we'll mention more affordable one. And if all the tools are great, we will make 2 issues on the same topic. For example, Prototyping topic has dozens on cool tools. We will do our best to mentions all useful, stable, affordable and user-friendly tools. The whole idea - is to make those newsletters in portions. So it will make learning process easier.
About practical guides on using tools or around specific topic: that would be mostly on our opinion. How to choose which guide on color psychology is better? Those with more claps on Medium, more upvotes on Designer News or maybe written by more popular designer? I don't know the best approach to this yet. any ideas here?
yeah, it's hard to add *all* articles or to choose *the best one*...
Just registered, looking forward to seeing more great content!
