Congrats on the launch, its #1 payoneer alternative with more features and lower fees. Already using for personal use cases beside my wise and mercury bank account.
Khalid Keenan
@musharofchy thanks for the kind words. If you had to pick the next feature that would a lot to your experience what would you go for?
Musharof Chowdhury

I have stopped using Payoneer(I was using it for last 4 years) so far and using ElevatePay for most of my business. It's awesome. We need a SWIFT Code(It doesn't have it yet), I hope it'll be added soon. There are some other improvements needed like 3D secure Cards, physical cards, etc. I hope they're working on it.
Khalid Keenan
@ihasaniftekhar 3DS is top of mind and coming soon. Same with SWIFT for receiving international payments

@ihasaniftekhar @khalid_keenan virtual and physical cards would be awesome. Add more countries (Australia). Would be perfect for digital nomads

Hello Product Hunt! 👋 We’re excited to introduce Elevate Pay, designed specifically for remote employees and freelancers in emerging economies like Bangladesh, Pakistan, Egypt, and the Philippines who need reliable USD banking. Why Elevate Pay? We created Elevate Pay because we've witnessed firsthand the struggles of receiving USD payments for remote workers and freelancers in emerging markets. Our goal is to give all remote professionals, regardless of where they live, access to the quality of USD banking previously only reserved by US residents. Key Features: - FDIC-insured USD accounts: Your USD account is provided by our sponsor bank, Bangor Savings Bank, an FDIC member, which means your deposits are insured up to $250K in case of bank failure. - Low fees and excellent FX rates: We strive to provide the most economical solution for sending money home, offering the best take-home rate compared to Payoneer and Wise. - Receive money like a US local: Easily transfer your earnings from platforms like Upwork, Deel, Toptal, and Ontop to your Elevate account. Your clients or employer can also make ACH transfers to your account from any US bank, Wise, Payoneer, Brex, Mercury, and similar services. Zero deposit required: Opening an Elevate Pay account is free and only takes a few minutes. Who It's For: - Remote employees working for international companies. - Freelancers earning from platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, and more. - Professionals in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Egypt, and the Philippines looking for better USD banking options. Our Story: Given our family backgrounds in emerging markets, we know the pain points faced when trying to receive USD payments. Typically access to USD accounts or wallets has come with extortionate fees. We started by trying to solve the problem locally but quickly figured out that most people needed USD accounts based in the US, but with the ability to send money home quickly and cheaply. Goals: Gather feedback from this amazing community to keep improving our service. Connect with remote workers and freelancers who could benefit from Elevate Pay. Explore potential partnerships and collaborations to expand our reach. Let's Chat! We’re here to answer any questions and would love to hear your feedback. Feel free to ask us anything about Elevate Pay and how it can simplify receiving USD payments. We’re all ears and ready to assist. Thank you for your support! 🙏 Cheers, Tanvir Head of Growth Elevate Pay

@tanvirulislamdipto will you expand to other countries? because Payoneer alternative it's very good :)
Khalid Keenan
@dennisbabych we can open up new counties relatively quickly. What countries do you want enabling?
Dennis Babych
@khalid_keenan Eastern Europe (Ukraine, Poland, Romania, etc)
Khalid Keenan
@dennisbabych thanks, we've not yet focussed on Eastern Europe but will start doing the research and prep.

It's great to see that on Product Hunt! I suggest now focusing on the physical card and web version of Elevate Pay. That would take the project to the next level.
Khalid Keenan
@mehedihassan great feedback. Web version is very interesting. Could you let me know a couple of reasons why you'd prefer web over mobile?
Mehedi
Thanks @khalid_keenan The web version offers a couple of distinct advantages. First, it provides a more expansive interface, which is particularly useful for handling complex transactions and detailed account management. Second, it ensures cross-platform accessibility, allowing users to access their accounts seamlessly from any device without needing a dedicated app. These features can significantly enhance user experience and engagement. Before web, Make Physical Card first.
Khalid Keenan
@mehedihassan brilliant, thanks for the detailed feedback really appreciate it.
Khalid Keenan
I'm hoping we're solving a real pain point that a lot of freelancers and remote workers around the world are facing (many who are on ProductHunt!) in receiving USD payments. While we've had positive feedback after launching earlier this year we're really looking forward to getting more detailed and thoughtful feedback and opinions from the product hunt community – it's going to be invaluable in helping us improve the product and experience in ways we may not have thought of. I'll be around to answer any questions on Elevate Pay, the product, the mission or anything else you want to know.

Used elavatepay, smooth onboarding and transaction. But i would love to see the conversion rate earlier on the first step rather than selecting send, then account and then check the rate.
Tanvirul Islam
@muballigur Thank you, Muballigur. That's a great suggestion. We might be able to push that update sometime soon.

I have been using Elevate Pay for better part of a year now and everything has been frictionless, the things I like the most are 10 min FX transfer and same day ACH, the team is easy to reach and open to feedback and suggestions. Give it a try especially if you are a freelancer or agency in one of emerging markets that they supports or if you don’t want to wait hours and pay high percentages on both incoming and outgoing transfers from certain other fintechs who claim to be more “wise” or being the “payoneer” of the market
Tanvirul Islam
@aonsyed Thank you for sharing your experience. Would love to hear if you have any feature request that would make your Elevate Pay experience even better.
Muttahir Aon Syed
@tanvirulislamdipto @khalid_keenan I am sure treasury prime has some support for being a gateway or using something like checkout ( listed as partners there ) so the Elevate can elevate from being for a freelancer tied to some market and becomes a platform where anyone can generate invoices or automate them and get paid directly in to their account. GBP/Eur accounts would help if gateway isn't there for client in other regions but it would be a band stop. Other things such as saving acc, stocks, physical cards etc are addons that could be provided as value added stuff. Otherwise, I think 3DS and SWIFT are being worked. I wouldn't call a web version just an addon because it adds lots of UI real estate that can be used to show transaction in details and the ability to manipulate and change data better while every pixel is important on phone but that a whole undertaking

ElevatePay is the best thing that has happened for Pakistan freelancers! I cannot thank them enough for considering the Pakistani Market, which had no reliable option other than Payoneer and Wise, both of which recently had been causing more headaches than convenience. I have tried Elevate for the past few months, and all transactions have been within minutes. Then I was able to talk to "REAL" human support, unlike Payoneer where their agents are clueless. The founder is active on LinkedIn and actually listens and addresses concerns (a rare find). The app experience is great overall. I wish to see the feature to generate invoices and payment request links as in Wise, where a client can directly pay. I wish all the best to ElevatePay and hope it continues to grow and expand.
Tanvirul Islam
@fatemar Thank you for sharing your in-depth experience. The idea for invoices and payment requests is brilliant. We will look into how we can add that to our product suite in the near future.
Khalid Keenan
@fatemar thank for the ideas. We're looking at payment links to actually receive payments by card but it honestly requires quite a bit of work with our partners (more reg the tech). As a intermediate solution does generating an invoice on its own to auto send to clients with your bank details add any value on its own? Or does it have to have the card payment as well?
Fatema
@khalid_keenan that would be a nice addition! But payment links that work with Cards or Paypal as in wise would be a game-changer, just wish to be on the roadmap.
Hashir Shoaib
Elevate Pay is a great alternative to Payoneer. However, the only thing preventing me from fully switching to Elevate Pay is that when I transfer funds to my local bank in Pakistan, the transaction is processed as a "LOCAL INTER BANK FUND TRANSFER" instead of a "HOME REMIT". Hoping that this issue will be resolved soon.
Khalid Keenan
@hashirshoaeb we're working on this to allow the issuance of PRCs for the transactions. Would that make a difference or does it still need HOME REMIT
Hashir Shoaib
@khalid_keenan Yes, the issuance of PRCs is the main thing and will fix the issue.
Hammad Mehmood
I have been using ElevatePay for several months now for receiving my salary. Transfer to Pakistani bank accounts happens in minutes. The transaction fees are less than its competitors and customer support is top notch. Keep up the good work and wish you best of luck.
Tanvirul Islam
@hammad_mehmood1 Our customer support team works around the clock to ensure we provide best-in-class support to our users. Thank you for mentioning that.
