Travel planning with my friends or family has always been a hassle with figuring out the best places to go to at a destination, best routes, best hotels & best rates. This could be a really great aid in that process.

We were primarily focused on the part where the real disruption happened - making instant personalized plans of what to do and see at the destination. But anyway, even now, we integrated Kayak as metasearch for booking hotels and flights. And it's just start, for sure making more complex solutions, including providing the right recommendations for accommodation and flights, is part of our vision. First users frequently asks about this feature.

Just tried out the tool and my mind is blown! I love how quickly it worked and gave me such a detailed and proper itinerary with prices. The ability to check out the included places in one click is superb. I'd love to have an option to share the itinerary with a URL or to copy the text. But overall, this looks amazing! I'll be traveling so much more often now haha. Awesome job guys!

@shreelekha Thanks a lot for your feedback and support! Actually, the feature of sharing of itinerary (and any message) is already there. We think it's one of our core features as you can share with a person or group and all them will have their own channel to continue the conversation with the virtual concierge. But the fact that you didn't notice is valuable, we'll work to make it more visible.
@islam_midov ahh yes, just found the share option! I was looking for this option in the Itinerary tab rather than the Chat tab. I think having an option to share from the final itinerary tab would also be great!

@maxim_surkiz I just saw yesterday that apple map now works offline. + there are more and more offline LLMs out there. Might be perf timing?

@maxim_surkiz @sentry_co very insightful, thank you! what LLMs works offline? from what we saw they require improvement to be mass user level... But I totally agree with the vision, we'll research the topic deeper.

I believe the travel planner for sure is not a novel idea, we knew it when we started, but without modern generative AI the problem couldn't be solved because of extremely unstructured content from travel text blogs and video that you need to know to get really good recommendations. So time has come. About features - I'd love to know from the early adopters community as PH is, it'd give us guidance not to focus only on our intuition and quantitative data from the first user. Our plan includes integration of voice-to-text and easy onboarding to ease CJM, integration of weather and location data to increase the quality of recommendations and enhancing engine part by using AI agents.
