MCP for Google Sheets - Connect direct to Salesforce & HubSpot with native formulas

Turn Google Sheets into a CRM command center. Use native formulas like =salesforce_lookup() and =hubspot_search() to query live data from Salesforce and HubSpot—no connectors, no exports. Just one formula, and you're in control.

🚀 MCP for Google Sheets is here.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 Navneet here, Co-founder & CEO at Coefficient (but today I’m just your spreadsheet’s new operator console).

We were inspired by how MCP became the command center for managing AI models and data sources. And we thought—why not bring that level of control to Google Sheets?

So we built it. Meet native Salesforce & HubSpot formulas for Google Sheets.

Imagine doing this in Sheets?

📞 Pass a list of emails to a rep for dials:

=hubspot_lookup("contacts", "Email", A3:A25, "First Name, Last Name, Phone")

💰 Pull Closed Won deals over $10k:

=salesforce_report_search("All Opportunities", "Amount, Stage", "Stage = Closed Won AND Amount > 10000")

🏢 Get company intel before outreach:

=hubspot_lookup("companies", "Domain", "acme.com", "Name, Industry")

Your spreadsheet just became the command line. The control panel. The MCP.

And, these formulas plug directly into your CRM reports, objects, and filters.

Want the playbook? Grab it here.

There’s no code. No setup. Just control.

⚙️ It’s the MCP for Google Sheets.

Try it out. Push it hard. Tell us what formula you want next.

Here all day to answer questions 🙌

@navneet_loiwal This looks like a product that can be very useful for work automation. Congrats on the launch!

Navneet Loiwal

@kay_arkain really appreciate the support, Kay! We're all about making a real difference in our users' daily workflows.

Sean Howell

@navneet_loiwal the playbook is a nice touch, thanks for the value add and impressed with the thought that went into your PH launch to make it a winner and give something a little extra.

"There’s no code. No setup. Just control."

Control doesn't seem like the right wording. Just instant might be more pleasing. Thanks for @frankjferris note below too.

Navneet Loiwal

@frankjferris  @howell4change really appreciate the thoughts and feedback, Sean!

@navneet_loiwalwondering how does it handle data freshness or sync timing? Is it always real-time or does it cache anything in the background?

Frank J. Ferris

I was one of the lucky ones to get early access to these and OH BOY have they been a game changer.

My day-to-day is deep in the spreadsheet trenches. I was already automating my data imports with Coefficient, but this literally covers the final gap of being able to build flexible and dynamic imports based on the contents of my cells. I now build all my column names and any filters directly into cells and reference them with these formulas. That means anyone can just change a cell pick-list or value and instantly see live Salesforce/HubSpot numbers flowing in.

Navneet Loiwal

@frankjferris really incredible to see the magic you make with spreadsheets and Coefficient, Frank!

Some people are all formulas which never add up—me, I’m more of a pivot table in the streets and an MCP in the sheets.

Cell references available on request.

Navneet Loiwal

@chrismessina actually lol'd at this one. Thanks for the support on our launch, Chris!

This is a serious game-changer. For the first time, you can pull live data from Snowflake, Salesforce, or HubSpot straight into Google Sheets with just spreadsheet formulas. It’s such a big unlock for data-minded folks who live and breathe spreadsheets, especially those in sales ops / rev ops. 🚀

Navneet Loiwal

@tsaitommy unlock is the keyword!

Paul Sobiecki

And this is what I call a product that solves a clear problem. I love it! How did you come up with the idea, did you struggle with the formulas a lot (like me) in the past?

Congratulations on the launch!

Navneet Loiwal

@heypaus our product has always been built on first-principles thinking - when end users need to discover, report, manipulate, or operate with data, it almost certainly ends up in a spreadsheet at some point. This thinking most certainly came from my co-founder and my experience working as engineers. So we built over 100+ connectors for users to point, click, and pull data into Sheets or Excel when they need. This formula launch took our thinking a step further, all the way to an individual cell or group of cells without the need to even open a sidebar. Initial usage has been incredible. Most of our formula users so far are relatively experienced with formulas like vlookup, so it's been very natural to implement these native CRM formulas into their workflows. BUT, for those that aren't so comfy, or need a little bit of inspiration beforehand, our team has built some incredible documentation on usage and real-life examples!

Paul Sobiecki

@navneet_loiwal Whoa. Such a nice product! Actually, I'm gonna send it to my friends as well

Navneet Loiwal

@heypaus thanks so much for the feedback, Paul! And thanks for sharing with your network. Means a lot.

Hello Navneet, first of all, I love the visuals—kudos. Secondly, two years ago, I built SheetAI.app, which is AI integrated into Google Sheets. I find this quite interesting and would love to collaborate if you're interested.

Navneet Loiwal

@indianappguy thanks so much for the kudos! Feel free to reach out to me on LinkedIn to discuss.

Nader Ikladious

That’s a game-changer for anyone juggling CRM data in Sheets. Perfect for analysts, ops, or founders who live in spreadsheets. I’ll definitely give it a try when syncing reports. Congrats on the launch 🚀

Navneet Loiwal

@naderikladious thanks so much, Nader! We built Coefficient in spreadsheets to begin with, but this launch has felt extremely close to our mission with it being accessible right inside of a cell.

Maksym Skrypka

Congratulations Navneet and team. Great job!

Navneet Loiwal

@maksym_skrypka appreciate you!
