When you pass away, make sure your data (such as crypto, bank details, investments, properties, digital assets, etc.) gets delivered to your beneficiaries with end-to-end encryption.
Most people don’t think about what happens to their digital stuff after they’re gone - until it’s too late. A friend passed away last year with crypto, domains, and a YouTube channel, and his family couldn’t access any of it. That’s where the idea for Cipherwill came from.
So built to ensure your digital life - crypto keys, bank accounts, passwords, investments, files - can be securely stored and automatically passed on to your people if something happens to you. It’s fully end-to-end encrypted (not even we can access it), and designed to be dead simple to use ⚡
There are tools out there for legal wills, but no one’s solving the actual problem of digital assets getting lost forever. We’re trying to fix that.
Definitely one to try out! One Q - How can I be assured that the delivery will happen as planned since I won't be around to know (and presumably others won't know to reach out and claim)? Is there like a simulation mode, has this been audited? Curious.
@ragsontherocks Absolutely, great question - and one we take very seriously! 🔐
Cipherwill uses a multi-layered delivery systemthat activates if you're inactive for a set period. We then initiate secure checks, and if needed, reach out to your trusted contacts or designated beneficiaries to ensure everything is delivered as intended.
To give you peace of mind, we run automatic simulations and internal audits every two weeks to make sure the entire flow works exactly as it should - reliably and securely.
@shivam1337 That's awesome, love the thoughtfulness!

This is such an important and often overlooked area. Managing digital legacy securely—with encryption and clear beneficiary delivery—is something we’ll all need eventually. Love seeing a solution that tackles this with privacy and responsibility in mind. Big kudos to the team for building this! 🔐💡
Thank you so much! 🙌 We deeply believe that your digital life deserves the same care as everything else you leave behind.

The concepts really cool and website is really great.
There was several questions coming to my mind the answer to each and every one of them was mentioned in the website itself in a really easy to understand manner.
Will definitely try it out!
Thank you so much! 🙌 That’s exactly what we were hoping for - clear answers and a smooth experience. Super glad it clicked for you. Can’t wait for you to try it out! 🔐

A product like this is pretty much useless if it is not open source and built on top of Bitcoin. What happens if the company fails? Who executes the code?
thanks! decentralizing key holders is on the roadmap - will keep you posted 🔐

@shivam1337 Great. I know this is extremely challenging.

How many beneficiaries can we assign? if have 4 kids . I want them to share equally but someone of my beneficiary accessed my Will earlier than others how it will be worked out?
You can assign multiple beneficiaries - including all 4 of your kids. You can also define how the data or assets should be shared or split among them.
If one beneficiary accesses it earlier, the others can still access their part anytime. For shared access, you can set rules like “unlock only when all have received it” or require joint decryption - depending on how private or collaborative you want it to be.
We're building it to match your exact wishes, with both flexibility and security in mind 🔐

Finally a solution for secure digital legacy management! 👍
This solves a critical modern problem! How does the system verify a user’s passing to trigger asset transfers? Is there a manual confirmation process to prevent accidental releases?
@desmond_ren1 Great question - yes, we’ve built safeguards to prevent accidental releases. The system uses a predefined inactivity period, and only after that window passes without a user check-in do we begin the process.

We’ve open sourced it - anyone can audit. Plus, mechanisms ensure beneficiaries still get access even if the team disappears.

@shivam1337 Very nice. Once you successfully decentralize the key holders, I will consider using this for myself.
