A life saver, This will get more relevant as LLMs get better, They always struggle with memory retention, But hopefully Byterover can solve this issue, Rooting for you!

@demetre_mildiani1 Hey! Thank you so much for trying us out and leaving feedback. We’re on a mission to make vibe coding better for everyone. Features like memory — or even better, an evolving knowledge hub — will be a big win for developers who love working with AI coding agents. We’ve got more exciting features coming soon, so stay tuned!

Thanks again for all the support

This is such a smart evolution of how we work with AI coding agents. The “amnesia” problem—where your AI forgets everything between sessions or projects—is real, and Byterover tackles it beautifully.

Love the idea of self-improving memory that travels with you, and the ability to share team-wide vibe-coding best practices is a killer feature. This feels like the missing layer that finally makes AI dev tools collaborative and context-aware.

Excited to try it out with Cursor. Big congrats to the team!

@rakibulism thanks !!!!

The workspace/project organization sounds clean, and keeping everything in the IDE is smart, no one wants another context switch. How does the memory prioritization work? Does it learn from usage patterns or is it mainly manual starring? @andy_byterover

@rachitmagon Great question! Right now, you can manually star memories—this is intentional so users always have control over what's important to them. When the agent retrieves memories, it uses both semantic search and lexical reranking to make sure you get the best match for your query from the vibe coding agent.

In the next release, we’re adding a way for the agent to automatically score and prioritize memories based on how often they're retrieved and how relevant they are. So you'll get a balance between manual control and smart automation. Thanks for the feedback!

@andy_byterover Great approach! Looking forward to the next release.
