I think so far i didn't get traffic but i think We can by regularly posting, So far I've been posting inconsistently for past 15-20 days

Β ahhh great, i too started with it, let's see where i goes :)

Β yeah, it feels like the real challenge is surviving long enough to become consistent. hoping it compounds for both of us , Currently the most engagement i got is from Instagram, I haven't tried tiktok but i am right now making content for it too

Β It's so hard to do it every day! I feel this

for real 😭 building the product already drains enough energy, then suddenly you also need to become a full-time content machine every day

Β  Β yes right!

I haven't personally experimented this, but I've heard from many sources and insiders that X is loaded with bots and it's incredibly difficult to filter through the noise. I don't think it's a primary go-to for product traffic for many founders.

Β Believe me, I've seen this a lot, Bot's auto replying hahaha and it gets on my nerves, I've scheduled posts for the next 5 days so lets see what happens :)

Β The bot culture is not the biggest problem, but actual getting less reach is the one! people prefer seeing content that doesn't need them to use their brains to process info.

Β Ain't that the truth. Do you think it is a more important platform than that of Product Hunt or maybe Reddit?

Β for me reddit, honestly has been a great source of traffic, I have got a huge influx of users from reddit, but yes PH launches sure bring in huge audience!

Yeah X can definitely drive big traffic, but it’s usually not from posting links alone. The real effect comes when you build visibility over time, and then launches or post just amplify that existing attention.

Right now, I don't have a Twitter account yet. I still need to finish three pages on my website and start slowly on Twitter. I think it will take between three and five posts a day for several months to get good results, but we'll see.

Β yes, all the best man!

I have almost zero exposure on x. I've never liked the platform and now it's particularly distasteful. I've posted on there and my footprint is too small to move the needle as all.

Β ahh, understandable.

X has helped, but not in the way many people expect. I’ve noticed it works better for building relationships, getting feedback, and creating visibility rather than instant traffic spikes. A single post can disappear quickly, but consistent posting and meaningful replies seem to compound over time. Sometimes one good conversation ends up being more valuable than a viral post.

Β yes i belive, you don;t get direct users from X, but some engagement.

Yeah X can absolutely drive real traffic, but it usually comes in bursts rather than steady flow. The real unlock is consistency + building in public, not just posting link.

Β yess I too believe that, in my personal account too, random posts sometimes used to get like a huge sudden reach, and well framed posts got almost none.

Yes X can bring a lot of traffic, but usually in spikes, not steady flow. The real growth comes when consistent posting + replies build an audience, and launches just unlock that attention.

Β yeah, just started posting on X, let's see how it goes!

I did try a lot of marketing on twitter for the start-up I am working for but I can't say the results were any help. We did get an increase in impressions as we consistently posted but no authentic engagement (likes, comments, follows, etc.). I would love to get some ideas on this myself if you guys have any advice to share from the experiences you had!

Β well for I'm myself the developer, as well as the person doing marketing, so giving equal time to both becomes kinda difficult and I too just started with Twitter for this. Yes one thing I've seen for my personal account that, buying a blue tick genuinely helps in engagement, but posting more of bs content gets more reach, than real good stuff.
