Basedash Apps + Actions - A better way to make internal apps

Hey Product Hunt 👋 After first launching on PH 3 years ago, we’re excited to launch the next iteration of Basedash. Basedash is a better way to make internal apps. We give you a beautiful interface, CRUD functionality, and powerful real-time collaboration—all you need to do is connect your database and hook up your API. It takes 5 minutes (demo video). Today, we're shipping 2 new major features: Apps and Actions. Apps lets you deploy fully-functional internal apps to your different teams. In a couple minutes, you can create pages that pull data from your database with full CRUD functionality. You can also write SQL queries for more complex calculations, and use them to automatically generate charts. Other than that, you don't need to write any code—everything just works out-of-the-box. Actions let you call APIs right from your apps. You can connect both internal and third-party APIs, which let you set up actions for things like refunding a user on Stripe, sending an email through SendGrid, or updating a lead on HubSpot. You can also connect to something like Zapier or Make for even more powerful workflows. We're really excited to see what kinds of apps you build with these new features! Congrats on the launch! We used Basedash to scale a project to 9k users in 2 weeks. Shared queries and prefilled inputs would've opened so many doors.

I mentioned a solution for internal apps a couple of weeks back on my live stream The Weekly SaaS Hunt. I love the fact that we got options on the market and we're reaching a state where you don't waste time on internal scripting. 👏👏 My suggestion, if you don't already have this: Blueprints/Templates > Have one-click deploy apps where entry level folk can just change a few config fields for data location and tables to pull from etc, but everything else is packaged. That as well as a large tutorial set, youtube series on how to create X app.

Basedash was already super useful but this new release makes it so much more powerful. Can't wait to play around with Actions, seems very cleanly executed as well.
