Featuring a new thin and light design, breakthrough Ultra Retina XDR display, and outrageously fast M4 performance with powerful AI capabilities, the new iPad Pro takes a huge leap forward
Two things that really caught my eye here:
1) This is thin, I mean really thin. It's about half the width of the new Apple Pencil Pro. The only product Apple makes thinner is the Apple Credit Card
2) The M4 chip. I can't wait to see this thing in the next range of Macbooks. I recently moved from M1 to M3 and I feel like it could take me to the moon.
Dropped you an upvote because that it sounds like it's packing enough punch to run circles around my old tablet.
Curious though, what's battery life looking like with all that power under the hood?
Cheers to pushing the tech envelope, iPad style! ππ±
Very powerful machine yes but that camera bump design looks really ugly. It is fine to have a camera bump but the design of it, this time does not feel premium.
Specs are great. I would take always on display over shaving of 5mm on the thickness tho π

@sentry_co i've checked "Tap", its ability to serve as a translator, interpreter, and web browser while remaining lightweight makes it a practical solution for on-the-go professionals. Notified.
I just want the camera on all these devices to lay flat with the rest of it π

What I like about the new iPad Pro is the option to upgrade its screen to matte screen.
As a iPad user myself, I have tried the Paperlike screen protector and I really enjoy the writing experience. However, it compromises the overall viewing experience.
I look forward to what the new iPad matte screen will offer!
Sadly the M4 is only in the iPad. Would love to use it for development in a MacBook

@jarne_rolf I saw Mygainplan and seems very usefulβI've tried many, but none have quite fit my needs. I'm curious to try yours. Notified.
@rachael_bebe As a developer, a MacBook is by far the better choise. You can't really use iOS or iPadOS to develop applications. It doesn't matter how fast the hardware is if the operating system isn't build for the tasks you need to do

@jarne_rolf thanks for that. im not a developer i wonder if the iPad pro would be a better option when i come to replace this MacBook. thanks again
