Whether the outer screen actually replaces what people used the Mini for, quick one-handed reading, matters more than the display specs, and that's still an open question until people are carrying this in a pocket for a few weeks. The bigger moat is the ecosystem point above: iOS third-party apps show up polished on day one for something like this, and that's years of relationship-building with developers, not something a folding hinge alone buys you.
The opening animation is the detail that got me. Making the outer screen read as glass the moment you start unfolding is the kind of thing nobody asks for and everybody feels. Congrats to the team on shipping this one.
