This really solves the problem to find things that lost Bluetooth signal. Tile uses other Tile users. Apple will use iPhone users. There’s definitely a better chance, specially in markets where Tile pretty much unknown.

Okay, I kind of need this for basically everything I own. I LOVE the customisable aspect of it.

Im a big tile user and have mostly been happy with the results - especially when they came out with the replaceable battery. Apple’s take on this tech leverages the size of their network which is the ‘killer’ feature. Im just flummoxed as to why they havent added some thing as basic as a hole in the tag so you can easily attach it to anything you want. I dont need to buy a $35 tag ‘holder’ to attach a tag to my keys I just want to be able to slip it onto my key ring. And the $300 luggage tag holder version - please. I’ve been a fanboy and supporter of apple since the 512K but some things are simply ridiculously overpriced.

The tracking app you needed to download for tile was the only barrier for usage. Apple is going to kill them

Hope this works. I've used some other devices like that and was never fully satisfied
