🔥 Best AI Automation Tools: Nominate Your Favorites for the Product Hunt Orbit Awards

We just wrapped the Orbit Awards for AI Dictation and now we re moving to the next category: AI Automation.

This one is for the tools that actually do work for you clearing chores, running workflows in the background, or quietly taking over a chunk of your week without turning into another dashboard you have to babysit.

Tooling Studio MCP - Let AI Work Inside Your CRM & Task Workflows

A lot of teams already manage work inside Gmail and Google Workspace. Customer conversations happen in email threads, follow-ups come out of meetings, and project coordination lives across tasks and boards throughout the day.

Keeping CRM records and project workflows aligned with all of that activity still takes a surprising amount of manual updating afterward.

Automation vs productivity in outbound - do we know what we want?

One of the more interesting things we have learned while building Causo is that people ask for automation, but what they really want is productivity. Those sound like the same thing but actually aren't.

Ask someone what they want from an AI sales tool and the answer is usually:

Just find the leads, write the emails and run the outreach for me.

But the moment the tool actually tries to do that, the questions start: where did this company come from; why does it match my ICP, is this person still working there; where did you find this information; can I change the email; has anything been sent yet?

Are you a product builder or a messenger between different AIs?

If you're building a product with AI tools, here's how your morning probably looks:

  • Open ChatGPT. Paste your project context. Ask your question. Get a decent answer.

  • Switch to Claude for something else. Paste your context again. Different tool, same briefing.

  • Hop into your codebase with Codex. Paste context again.

You're not just a builder anymore. You're a context delivery system.

The indie hackers I've talked to who use AI most effectively have one thing in common: they've figured out how to stop babysitting their tools and just use them.

Would you rather use 5 tools to build an app, or one AI builder for the whole thing?

I ve been thinking about how messy the current build an app with AI workflow still is.

For a simple website or SaaS-style product, people often end up jumping between multiple tools:

  • one tool for UI generation

  • another for backend/database

  • another for auth

  • another for payments

  • another for deployment

  • and maybe something else for internal dashboards or admin tools

It works, but the workflow can get fragmented pretty quickly especially if you re not a full-stack developer.

Hey PH ! I'm Deepak Chandra , building KuberAgent — free AI tools for everyone 👋

Hey Product Hunt community

I'm Deepak Chandra, a builder from India, and I've been quietly working on something I'm really excited about KuberAgent.com.

What is KuberAgent?
A growing suite of free AI-powered tools built for developers, creators, and everyday users. No paywalls. No signups required for most tools. Just open and use.

Why am I building this?
I believe powerful AI tools shouldn't be locked behind expensive subscriptions. My goal is to make AI accessible to everyone whether you're a student, a freelancer, or a developer.

Curious what tools you use today: a tool that automates tasks just by chatting with it.

Hey, I m building a tool where you just chat to automate tasks no setup, no coding. It connects with your apps and gets stuff done.

Quick question:

  • What tools do you use for repetitive tasks right now? (Zapier, Notion, n8n, Make.com, etc.)

  • What are the most common apps or SaaS tools you use every day?

  • What s the most annoying part of your workflow?

  • Would you be interested in trying an early version and helping shape a tool that could save you hours each week?

Appreciate any thoughts!

What 20 months of building looks like :)

Hey PH Kshitij here from Inr .

We launched here back in 2024, which gave us a real platform to kickstart our journey, and the feedback from this community has genuinely shaped how we built Inr .

What productivity tools do you use and why?

Today, the productivity domain in tech is very well developed - there are tools for almost any need!

But at the same time, there s always a feeling that there might be something else, something better. All the time.

What I like about this space is that once people start using tools like Miro, Notion, Trello, ClickUp, etc., they tend to keep testing new things and experimenting with different tools.

Which no-code automation tool do you recommend in 2025? 🙈

@Zapier, @Make, @Relay.app , @n8n , @Activepieces, @Pabbly
So many automation tools in 2025!

I cannot decide what to choose for beginners but with a wish to become a pro user
From my recent research, quick insights

  • @Zapier still wins for ease-of-use and integrations, but might be expensive and has low free limitations

  • @Relay.app is amazing for beginners due to built-in AI workflows

  • @Make remains top for complex automation

My takeaways for new users from my one day research

What tasks do you wish you could automate? Which ones do you already automate?
As for me, it's definitely the process of filtering and turning into action emails and LI messages. There must already be a tool for that! And I'm not using any serious automations yet. Just general aid from GPT3!

Which niche AI apps you use everyday to automate tasks?
There are tons of apps based on GPT or other models launched every day, hard for individual to keep track of all of them. Yet, I bet many of them make your life easier. Which do you consider as most useful one and should get more attention? Since attention is all you need ;)

🧠 What’s your favorite AI tool that’s not ChatGPT?

With so many AI tools popping up every week, I m curious:

Which ones have actually stuck around in your workflow?

  • Are you using anything for image/video generation?

  • Got an underrated writing or code assistant?

  • Something that helps automate tedious stuff?

Would love to hear what s been useful (or surprising)!
