- Not sure that is the best too, but i used it in the past and he does the job and editing was easy.
- Actually, I am shocked that no one mentioned macOS native QuickTime player. It's really easy to use and gets the job done pretty well. Yes, it can also screen record :)
- I use CloudApp for that. Can create either video files or gifs from the recording. Recording a quick gif is my favorite feature. Super useful for sharing something quickly. I believe you need a paid account to record longer videos (I upgraded and use it everyday)
- The only screen video recording software I have found that is both free and provides enough basic settings and details to meet most needs.I love monosnap. It's just great. It also allows you to save your files on dropbox or other cloud services and for that you pay a flat fee. It's dead cheap and good.
