Spiral is a solid co-pilot for structured, long-form content. It’s clearly running on some high-end intelligence; it avoids ambiguity and actually seeks clarification, which is huge. It does a great job balancing the logic and structure you need for academic or serious professional drafts. But here’s the kicker: the free trial is a major letdown.
What needs improvement
Preventing the user from seeing the final output is low-key frustrating, and might be a blocker to conversion. If they fix that one thing, this tool is ready to shine.
