I love this approach to insurance -- you've built a great, straightforward, easy-to-understand product in a zone that is usually quite murky. Kudos. Even more, I love a great startup launch marketing campaign, and yours is A+. The site is super well constructed, the language & navigation is clear, the video crisp, the social accounts useful, and the voice & tone of everything appealing & suitable.

Well done, Brian! It's a really useful service. Parsing is super-valuable for good mobile UX, and Instaparser does it speedily, cheaply, and with good documentation.

I am late, late, late commenting on this app, but: It's awesome. I like zoning out to music or books as I fall asleep, and none of the snooze modes in other apps work very well. SnoozeCast works super-well, super-simply, and I love that the initial book cohort is composed of first-rate classics (a) many of which I've read before, but merit revisiting, and (b) lend themselves to liminal states,...

I notice at the bottom of your homepage "Powered by NewsUSA". What does that mean? I think of NewsUSA as a service that passes corporate press releases off as news stories -- basically, poorly disguised brand marketing. Is that kind of fake news content going to appear in this app? Otherwise, in what way is the app is "Powered by NewsUSA"?

Hi! Quick feedback: Just went through the onboarding, and the app doesn't find my wife, the person I most often FB with, and who's starred in my contacts db. When I type in her email address, nothing happens and I get a blank group.

I've been using First Draft in beta for about a month, and have really loved it. I've experimented with a bunch of flows: First Draft --> Hemingway; First Draft --> Medium; First Draft --> Simple Note; First Draft --> Google Docs. All of them are useful for different functions, but they all start with First Draft. It took me only about 1 or 2 pieces of writing to get used to the backspace =...

There's so much to love about this app, and I really like the fact that the makers continue to change things around, trying to optimize UI ever more. That said, I don't love the new first screen graphic. It's useful, to be sure, but it's not what I want to see first: it's redundant to what's open-able on the second screen, and I miss the old graph showing predicted rainfall at my location in...

The Chrome install warning says the extension can "read your browsing history." That's super-un-enlightening. Can the makers actually see (and record) the URL of each tab I open? If so, ugh. If not, that warning is probably going to scare off at least some potential users.

Thanks, @alexisohanian! While we're definitely trying for a very simple, clean, easy, etc., UI, the special sauce here, if special sauce there be, is the fact that the videos are editorial selected, and can be watched by channel -- topics or personally saved videos. I like picking a topic like Architecture, Cities, Food, Comics, and then staying in that flow for a bit. Details about the feature...

Am I wrong to be suspicious of a service that enourages me to use it with my private files, but obscures who's behind it, and how exactly it works?
