While this is no doubt interesting in its own right, I'd be even more interested in knowing the rest of the denominator; the losers. Their lessons are even more important than the winners.

Obviously you'd have to first begin updating yourself with what happened while you were gone. For documentation first companies, that's usually easy. Otherwise, you'd have to buddy up with someone who can give you that information precisely as possible. Honestly, departments, teams and companies should have daily internal digests for exactly this. Checking out one's email inbox simply isn't...

Signal, Firefox and Office. Comms, web access and work productivity. That's really all you need. Everything else is either a distraction or a privacy problem or both.

Outstanding use case. We're working on a similar solution for other domains. Having useful and accessible means of scaling documentation is important. Kudos ๐

I think so too. It's really interesting. I actually felt something when I missed a day and lost a 55+ day streak.

I've always been worried about the balkanization of our data across so many sites over our lifetime. This data mapping tool can very much help alleviate the problem of rediscovering where that often sensitive data lives. It's a good step towards fixing this.

Some of us use open source solutions. I've been using TiddlyWiki since 2016. Haven't looked back since. It's flexible, portable (it's a quine, an html5 app that produces a copy of it's own source code for you to download and serve from a local device) and completely serverless. It came as 2nd product of the day in 2020. https://www.producthunt.com/posts/tiddlywiki-2

It's about building conversations and relationships with others. Its not always about you. So, participate in conversations as an equal, and don't just take the center stage and insist on being the conductor. That'll come naturally as you gain clout.

Building relationships is a very underappreciated thing you could do that doesn't scale. It's fulfilling, you get ideas for future products, features, constructive criticism. It's amazing really!
