What do you use to vibe-code applications?

I have used a few products to vibe-code my applications. The first one I used was Chatgpt. From this, I created my first application and it had a very average UI. I was using nextjs for frontend and backend, so for me, the backend part took time but it was decent.
The second product which is good enough for me currently is Gemini. This creates a very good UI and backend at the same time. The first time I used it, it was a super upgrade in the UI. I also used Lovable to create one practice project, but I don't know why I did not used again.

I also heard people's suggestion of using different AI's like claude, cursor etc. but moving in to a different platform has some friction.
What AI is most used or easiest to build an application? I recently heard of a new AI called Emergent, which creates the whole application with a single prompt.

AI apps are no longer apps. They are attachments to surfaces you already use.

Last week, six AI products launched on Product Hunt that share one move. None of them ask users to open a new app. They embed into surfaces people already touch.

Hardware: Dune Keypad (46 upvotes) sits next to your keyboard with Claude integration. Video calls: Mina Meeting Assistant (47 upvotes). Text threads: folk (51 upvotes). Chat windows: Databox MCP (39 upvotes) plugs business data into Claude via Model Context Protocol. Mac autocomplete: Typeahead (22 upvotes).

The pattern is clear: shipping AI as a new app is the slow path. The fast path is grafting onto a surface the user already touches. The cost of building a standalone AI app dropped 90%+. The cost of getting it noticed did not. Surface integration sidesteps the noticing problem because the surface already has users.

Coding from my phone on the bus — powered by a Mac mini at homeLately, I ve been coding during my bus rides using Codex and Claude Code on my phone. Both connect remotely to the Mac mini sitting at home, so I can ask the agents to implement features, inspect errors, run tests, or make small fixes without opening a laptop. It s obviously not ideal for long manual coding sessions, but for reviewing changes and directing AI agents, mobile works surprisingly well. The Mac mini feels perfect for this setup. It s quiet, power-efficient, and can stay online 24/7 without me worrying too much about electricity or heat. Basically, it has become my personal remote development server. I can start a task while waiting for the bus, check the result during the ride, and often have a finished change ready before I arrive. Has anyone else built a similar mobile coding workflow? What tools do you use to connect to your machine at home?
