👋 Hey Product Hunters! We're very excited to share Userfeed with the PH community. Userfeed is a product feedback tool built on Intercom's new messenger platform. Our goal is to make it easy to gather, prioritize, and close the loop on customer feedback. We built Userfeed to solve a problem we encountered building a different SaaS tool. We had users sharing feedback organically within Intercom conversations, but we didn't have a great way to capture it. The existing tools we tried were either overkill or required us to push customer data to yet another service. Since our customer data and communication already flow through Intercom, we decided to build a feedback layer on top. Using our messenger app, you can gather feedback and share your roadmap within your Intercom messenger. Right there, on your site, where your users and prospects already are. And when a user chats in with a feature request, you can quickly log it without leaving the conversation. Userfeed will link users and conversations to preserve valuable context and make following up a breeze. Gone are the days of making people leave your site and log in to a different site just to share feedback with you. We're excited to keep building out the platform, you check out our roadmap to see what's coming next. And of course, we'd love to hear your feedback! Onward!

Kyle and Landon are super responsive and have been shipping new features each week. I‘m very excited to see Userfeed continue to develop. I feel like they are on the right track to what the future of user feedback will look like.

Pros:

Easy to use as a developer and since it’s an Intercom messenger app, our users can submit feedback and feature requests right from live chat

Cons:

Wish it was more opinionated about which feeds I should start with.

Harry, Thanks so much for the feedback 🙏 We've enjoyed supporting your team. We've actually added a couple default feeds (Feature Requests & Bugs) for new users, but I believe this was added after you had signed up a month ago. Either way, I'm glad our change aligns with your feedback 🙂

Love it.

Thanks @eoghanmccabe! As big fans/users of Intercom, we're pumped to build lightweight tooling on top. A lot less to build, and a lot less for our users to adopt/learn!

This is a very interesting tool! One thing I think it's missing - the ability to capture a screenshot and let users comment/annotate and attach it directly to the message. Feedback wise, nothing speaks better than pics, and it's easier for people to show what they mean. Any plans for adding something like that?
Kyle Conarro
@alexlazarevic We definitely want to enable attachments, but as of now we're limited by Intercom's messenger platform components. Admins can attach files to posts, but obviously customers aren't able to access that side of things. I'll add this to Userfeed's Userfeed to track it!

Closing the loop is such an important part of the customer journey - increases engagement, up-sells, and new customers. Very exited to try this out!

@hcliu totally agree. Thanks for joining the discussion!

@lukesbeard thanks! Looks great on the site! We'd love to hear *your* feedback as customers engage and you use it a bit more.

This is a great way to start acting on user feedback and also letting users' know that they are a part of the development of the product. Overall, great product :)
Kyle Conarro
@rishikmathur thanks for the kind words!
