Our customers enjoy the transparency of seeing what's being worked on and then seeing their ideas get shipped to the product. All in all this was an easy win for us.
We switched to Intercom so we could use Userfeed and have not regretted our decision one bit. The team behind Userfeed is awesome and they are working closely with their users to make Userfeed better every day. We manage a lot of feedback and Userfeed makes our lives so much easier and saves us so much time. Highly recommend! Thanks Landon and Kyle for building Userfeed! :)
Thanks for the kind words! We're focused on Intercom for multiple reasons:
- We have used Intercom Internally at all our companies
- We've found this to be the best source of quality feedback by far
- Intercom is already in your app so you don't have to embed anything for send users to another app to give feedback
- Intercom feedback typically starts as a problem statement (I can't, how do I, do you support...), where as idea boards or forums mostly consist of opportunity statements (it would be nice if, it would be cool if)
- It gives us a focus. We can focus on being the best feedback product if you're an Intercom customer
- Intercom has 50k customers and growing rapidly. Plus they're focused heavily on helping their dev platform partners have success
- Intercom is the best platform for customer data and messaging, so we didn't have to build those pieces out.
We may look into other customer engagement platforms in the future, but deep Intercom Integrations will be our focus for the time being. Still so much to do there :)
