A workflow automation platform that routes tasks to the right agent – human or AI. By connecting tools like Slack, Jira and Notion – Trace breaks down existing workflows, spots automation opportunities and embeds AI agents to repetitive tasks.
Trace tends to show up where workflows get complex. The parts of work that involve reasoning, coordination, and follow ups instead of simple triggers.
If you are using Trace, we want to hear how. What kind of workflow is it handling for you? What problem finally felt manageable once Trace was in the mix?
Hi Gang! Excited to announce that @arthur_romanov and I got nominated for our local Forbes 30U30 award - could you kindly support us by visiting the link below and smashing that button (under profile pic) to make sure we get the top vote Huge thank you for all your help over the years
Reviewers mostly say Trace is strong at turning rough prompts into workable, editable workflows and making it clear which steps belong to AI versus people. Users repeatedly praise the hybrid, human-in-the-loop model, saying it fits real team processes better than rigid automation tools and helps non-engineers build useful flows quickly. Founder feedback from the makers of Jupitrr AI and STORI adds concrete use cases like social posting, reporting, and website scraping. Common gaps are broader integrations, better alerts for failed runs, stronger debugging, APIs/webhooks, onboarding, and more reporting and control.
Just tried Trace, pretty slick. Love how it spots repetitive tasks and plugs AI in where it actually helps instead of overcomplicating things. Integrations with Slack, Jira, and Notion feel seamless. Definitely a solid workflow booster.
What's great
workflow automation (21)Slack integration (14)Jira integration (5)Notion integration (11)hybrid approach (9)human in the loop (7)
Used Trace several times at home, but was not allowed to use at work sadly. I work in finances and since Trace requests data to docs, so it's not allowed. I did use trace to summarise hackerNews articles and get the digest to my email everyday and it works very well. I want to schedule the runs though! It’s still early, but the core idea is strong.
I get transparency and control at every step. Hybrid delegation means I can trust the workflow in real scenarios. Tags: hybrid approach, human in the loop
What needs improvement
Better docs for edge cases and expanded plugin options would help.

@debarghyaroy thanks Debarghya, exciting times ahead 🚀
@ishaan_sehgal Thanks Ishaan! Omnara looks great as well, something I would use myself. Vibe-coding while on the go means I will not code only when sleeping 😄 Let us know if we can help you automate any internal processes or repetitive tasks
Two questions. When you say "Bring your own agents" on the website. What do you mean by that? And is there a chronological view of actions going through the system in real time?
We work closely with larger clients to allow them to integrate the AI agents they already use into Trace so they can manage all their AI agents from one platform.
Workflow view itself is a chronological view of tasks that need to be completed for the workflow to be completed, if that's what you mean. If you are referring to an audit log, we are developing the functionality to clearly see the steps taken by AI Agents for visibility, debug and audit purposes.
In your definition of the word AI agent. What counts as an AI Agent? Any examples? 2. I saw this live snapshot vie at ai.work the other day. They have a gif on the front page.
An AI agent is any automated workflow handler — like an AI that drafts emails, fills forms, or tracks updates. The live snapshot is similar — it shows how agents act on tasks in real time.
An AI agent is any automated helper — like one that drafts emails, fills forms, or tracks updates. That snapshot shows agents acting in real time, similar to how Trace works.
Bring your own agents - means you can assign tasks to your own team members or AI agents. And yes — Trace provides a chronological view so you can track actions in real time.

Does Trace have lark integration?
Trace
@timewaitsfortim hello Tim, not yet!
@timewaitsfortim @arthur_romanov we can consider it after completing hubspot integration maybe
Trace
@timewaitsfortim not yet. Is it something you are using for your business? We can consider adding it
