It's fantastic because Tripo AI takes all the complexity out of 3D creation. You don’t need a deep background in 3D design to jump in and start creating high-quality work. The AI speeds up the learning curve, helping you iterate faster and refine your ideas quickly. Plus, the interface is intuitive, making it easy to experiment without feeling overwhelmed.

Honestly, I’d love to see more customization options for the AI-generated content. While it’s awesome that it simplifies things, sometimes I want to push things even further and have more control over finer details. It would also be great if there were more templates or presets for specific industries, like gaming or VR, to really hit the ground running.

I chose Tripo AI because it aligned perfectly with my need to simplify 3D creation while still having enough room for creativity.

For the most part, the generated models are clean, but the UVs can be a bit hit or miss, especially with more complex shapes. The geometry is solid for basic models, but if you’re aiming for really precise, production-ready stuff, you might need to do some cleanup.

Yep, it does support PBR (Physically Based Rendering) maps like normal and roughness! That’s a huge plus if you’re aiming for more realistic textures and lighting effects. It’s pretty smooth to integrate these maps, which makes adding that extra layer of realism to your models a lot easier.

Onboarding is smooth, and it doesn’t overwhelm you with jargon or complex setups. You can jump straight into creating, and the AI does a lot of the heavy lifting, which makes it feel almost intuitive. For someone like me, who’s still learning the ropes of 3D, it’s a big win.
