Nugget AI turns customer interviews into product evidence. Record or upload calls → AI extracts pain points and feature requests → synthesis surfaces themes → auto-generated PRDs with real customer quotes → dev-ready handoff to Linear & GitHub. NEW: MCP server. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or Codex — your AI agent can search every interview and draft specs grounded in real evidence. No more copy-pasting. Half the price of Dovetail.

AssemblyAIThe best way to build Voice AI apps with one robust API
4.8 (29 reviews)
Nugget is built on real-time interview transcription, so latency and accuracy on conversational audio were non-negotiable. AssemblyAI's Universal-Streaming plus speaker diarization out-performed Deepgram in my testing on actual customer calls — fewer dropped words, cleaner speaker separation. The API was also the cleanest to integrate; I had a production pipeline running in a day. LeMUR was the bonus that sealed it.

StripeFinancial infrastructure for the internet
4.9 (421 reviews)
Also considered:
Picked Stripe in about 30 seconds. Subscription primitives, Stripe Tax for global compliance, and a developer experience that's still the bar everyone else is judged against. The Stripe MCP server was a bonus — being able to query live subscription data from Claude during development cut a lot of dashboard-flipping out of my workflow. For a solo founder shipping a SaaS, there isn't a real second choice.

Claude CodeAnthropic’s deep-context AI coder
5.0 (457 reviews)
Also considered:
Claude Code did 80% of the build. MCP support was the deciding factor — being able to plug in Linear, Figma, Supabase, and our own Nugget server meant the agent always had real context, not stale guesses. Long-running agentic tasks (multi-file refactors, full feature builds) just work. I used Cursor for tight inline edits, but Claude Code owned the heavy lifting — and watching it use MCP servers daily is what convinced me to ship one inside Nugget.
