Dear developers! We're Samyak, Yogesh and Yash. Our team is committed to building LLM based developer tools to solve core developer challenges since the day ChatGPT was launched. Over the last two years, we've seen LLMs improve significantly for code-generation. The challenge we face today is not about complexity. But instead something much simpler. πŸ™…πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ Getting started with new Libraries As devs, we integrate 100s of libraries when writing code. Many of them require us to spend hours reading docs, copy-pasting code snippets, and debugging confusing errors. It's a major time-suck. ChatGPT and coding copilots don't help since they aren't up-to-date with the latest syntax. Surveys suggest, augmentic LLMs with web-search don't provide accurate results either. And developers are pretty much on their own. πŸ‘‰πŸ» Introducing CommandDash - AI Assist for Packages and Frameworks CommandDash is the one-stop destination to integrate any library in your project. It allows you to create custom AI agents to integrate any library such as Langchain, Supabase, FastHTML, etc without the long learning curve of documentation and generic examples. βœ… Create from Github or Package Manager URL. Add addional sources like blog & examples. πŸ‘¨πŸΌβ€πŸ’»Generate code for your usecase contextualized to your project. Works from the WEB and IDE. 😌 Debug compiler and runtime errors. Agents runs through all issues on Github to find your fix. For Library Maintainers To help library managers manage their support requests, we are working to provide automation features. We currently support, 1. An AI Code Gen badge to mention in readme and documentation that takes users to the agent. 2. Enable the agent as discord bot to help members in the server and learn from the discussions. What's next? Our vision is to provide developers with customized documentation for their usecases for every open-source library and even private SDKs soon. We're working to also fine-tune models for every library to ensure we provide accurate non-hallucinating results and generate complex code not achievable otherwise with RAG. Join 25,000+ developers who use CommandDash to build faster without the hassle of docs and support. Try it today on the web or in VSCode!πŸ”—https://commanddash.io Please leave us your feedback if this is the solution you've been looking for and how we can make it better for you! ✌🏻

@samyakk Big congrats on the launch πŸŽ‰ This looks like a game-changer for dealing with the endless task of integrating new libraries. I’m really interested in how CommandDash keeps the code generation accurate, especially for those niche or fast-evolving libraries. Also, curious about your plans for supporting private SDKs down the line. Looking forward to seeing how this tool will simplify our dev lives!
Samyak Jain
@devindsgbyq thanks! keeping the code accurate for fast evolving libraries is the biggest challenge we tackle. Currently we're addressing with a strong RAG algorithm that can find exhastive code snippets. We also later plan to start fine-tuning models for individual libraries to generate more complex code with accuracy.

Hey @samyakk that looks really helpful. Appreciate your efforts πŸ™πŸ» So when integrating the AI can recommend code on the latest version of the code base? This would be super helpful because many "co-pilots" become outdated very quickly. Congrats on the launch πŸš€
Samyak Jain
@crebuh Exactly! We faced the same outdated code problem and hence decided to solve it. Hope you find it helpful during you next integration.

Hey Samyak, congrats on your launch! We are a software development agency, and we've tried Welltested earlier and it was quite helpful for generating test cases for a couple of projects. Best wishes for this new launch!

I've always struggled with integrating new libraries or tools, and often found Copilot’s suggestions lacking. This tool looks like it could be a game-changer. Excited to give it a try! @samyakk
Samyak Jain
@loharvikas14 we know! that's the exact reason we are working to solve this. Please give it a try and I'll look forward to your feedback.
