Does Jitsi meeting requires login from user side? I lost few ones. Finally Changed to Google meet.
Emailing template format to users needs improvement.
Google meet & Google calander booking works perfectly fine.
when User hit final booking CTA, it takes a lot of time. Plus cancelling meeting takes a lot of time. As if I am waiting for for the background compute process. Does a Jitsi meeting require users to log in? I lost a few meetings and ultimately switched to Google Meet.
The email template format for users needs improvement for Jetsi only. Google Meet and Google Calendar booking work perfectly fine.
However, when users click the final booking call-to-action (CTA), it takes a long time to process. Additionally, cancelling a meeting also takes a significant amount of time, as if I'm waiting for the background process to complete.
Cal ID
Hi Product Hunt 👋
I'm Rishabh, one of the co-founders of Cal ID.
If you’re tired of “just another scheduling tool”, let me spark your curiosity again – Cal ID is beyond scheduling.
We’re democratizing productivity so solos and growing teams can stop wrestling with reminders, timezone math, and admin, and get back to the work that actually matters.
Here’s why people love Cal ID:
Truly unlimited. The free plan has no feature limits and no commission on paid calls.
Sleek booking links like cal.id/rishabh (looks premium, right?)
Personalized onboarding & support where real humans help you set up fast.
Comprehensive integrations make scheduling a part of your workflow.
We ship fast. Our best features came from user requests that we built in record time.
Fully open source. You can explore, self-host, or contribute – no black boxes here.
Always affordable (pinky promise 🤙)
The enterprise plan is currently free for early adopters. Even when the paid plan arrives, it will stay genuinely affordable for the value you get.
We’ve now got 4,000+ users who’ve ditched paid tools and turned booking links into revenue streams – consultants, solo founders, agencies, coaches, recruiters.
Would love to hear your feedback!
My team and I are here all day 🐈

Cal ID
@aurelia_b Thank you so much for the feedback! 🙌
More booking page customization is actually on our roadmap – we want your booking links to feel like a natural extension of your brand.
Out of curiosity, is there a specific look or layout you’d love to have? I'm all ears!
Happy to hunt Cal ID today! :)
I know @manas_jha and @sanskarix from OneHash for over a year, been following their journey. What stood out was how obsessively close they stay to user feedback.
Cal ID is more than a scheduling link, it’s a productivity layer that removes the admin chaos around calendars, timezones, reminders and paid bookings. You get unlimited scheduling with zero commissions, premium-looking booking pages, real human onboarding support, deep integrations and the freedom to self-host since it’s fully open-source.
I’m endorsing this because it genuinely flips the script in a space full of “same tool, new UI” products. No paywalls on basic functionality, no nickel-and-diming creators, and rapid feature delivery that actually reflects what users ask for.
For solo founders, consultants, agencies... this feels like a fair deal built by people who understand the grind.
Excited to see this scale! :)
Cal ID
Thank you @rohanrecommends for not just hunting Cal ID, but for seeing what we’re really building. Not just another tool, but something fair, flexible, and deeply user-led.
Your words capture the mission better than I could, and coming from someone who’s seen our journey up close, it hits even harder.
It's great to have your support, and we’ll keep shipping like we mean it.
Let’s scale this together!
@rishabh_pandram Congratulations on the launch! 🚀🚀
I have a question: Since "Cal ID" is a product without restrictions on the free plan, what's the difference between the paid and free plans? What's the core difference between the paid and free plans?
@rishabh_pandram Huge congrats on the launch! Really appreciate all the hard work that went into this.

I have been using this tool for two years, and so far, we’ve booked over 10,000 interview slots using the calendar.
The Enterprise/Team version includes almost everything a corporate company might need for calendar scheduling.
When you visit our website, viaSocket, you’ll find a single meeting link that automatically redirects meetings to the relevant team member.
And their Support is <3
Best of luck.
Cal ID
@rpaliwal71 Wow, 10,000+ interviews is incredible! 🙌
We’re so glad Cal ID has been part of your workflow, and we love how you’re using a single redirecting link for viaSocket – that’s such a smart implementation.
Is there anything that still feels manual or repetitive in your setup that we could make smarter?
Zennbox
This looks like a great way to schedule meetings and calls. How is this different from calendly and normal google calender meeting scheduling.
Cal ID
@bhu_1 Great question! So Cal ID is totally free for premium features like payments and custom branding, while Calendly charges for those. Plus, it’s open source and supports local payments (like Razorpay for Indian users).
Compared to Google Calendar, you get booking links, reminders, and easy team scheduling. Is there any feature you feel is missing in the current tools?
Cal ID
@bhu_1 At Cal ID, we’ve created an easy and smarter way to schedule meetings and calls. Unlike Google Calendar or Calendly, we give you premium calendar features, simple team meeting management, workflow insights, and easy-to-share links.
We offer 24/7 support, and our plans are free for both individuals and teams. You can also accept payments easily with Razorpay for India, as well as Stripe and PayPal. We’ve built Cal ID to be simple and stress-free, so scheduling is quick and easy, whether you’re working alone or with a team.

Congratulations on the launch!
I am truly intrigued by the "timezone math" thing @rishabh_pandram . What's unique here?
It's really a big pain
Cal ID
@chilarai Cal ID automatically detects each user’s timezone and converts available slots to their local time. We also have a “Lock Timezone” feature which fixes event times to a set timezone.
Coming Soon - A new feature that allows users to offer extended booking slots for their attendees from selected countries or timezones, enabling a more flexible and personalized scheduling experience.
Swytchcode
@rishabh_pandram Awesome. Say I'm in IST and the person I'm trying to meet is in EST. There are a couple of pain points:
I have to manually convert their timezone to mine every time.
Then I have to remember whether EST is currently in daylight savings or not (which I always mess up).
And if I’m coordinating multiple calls across time zones, the mental overhead keeps stacking.
If the app shows their time and my time side-by-side while scheduling, that would be a huge win. It removes the guesswork completely.

Looking for a substitute for calendarly for a while... Cal ID seems to be a good choice. Hope the integration is not painful!
Cal ID
@cruise_chen Absolutely! We’ve built Cal ID for seamless scheduling, with effortless integrations. Even better, you can migrate from Calendly with a single click, so you’re up and running instantly. Give Cal ID a try, and you’ll see the difference!
Cal ID
@cruise_chen Apart from migrating from Calendly, we have amazing integrations that fit right in your workflow. For a quick setup, we have a free personalized demo call (Yes, we're humans, not docs!)
You could schedule it here - cal.id/manas
