Don't sign up with Visible. I got the sim card yesterday. The service is slow as slow can be. Loading websites is PAINFUL. Their app sucks. Their customer support sucks even worse. I for instance ordered the sim car with a new number so I could TRY the service without cancelling my verizon account. Did you know you can't port a number later? You didn't? Well how the hell would you? Every other service allows that. Their customer support is flippant and unhelpful. They would not offer a refund. AVOID!

Pros:

Price

Cons:

Very Very Slow To Load Website - AWFUL Customer Service - Can't Port a Phone Number AFTER you sign up to TRY the service....only at signup

I’ve been trying to port my old number that I ported to Visible to a carrier that will actually give me working service. Visible won’t respond on their chat or Messenger what my account or PIN numbers are. I’m ready to give up my phone number of the last decade, just so I can get working service elsewhere. What a nightmare!

Signup went pretty quick, only issue I had was that I needed to contact support to find out that I needed to follow my verizon account number with a "-1", so "XXXXXXXXX-1". Other than that, signup went quick and my customer service rep Christian was prompt, Knowledgeable, and helpful. I expect this to be just like my normal service since it its on Verizon's backbone. I will update this review if I run into any issues.

Pros:

Easy Signup

Half the cost of my old plan

Unlimited Data

Responsive Customer Care

App is dead simple

Cons:

No "Pop Data" (yet?)

No Tethering (yet?)

When you sign up for cellphone service the expectation is that you'll have reliable - wait for it - cellphone service. With Visible, you don't get that. Not only is the reception bad, but customer service is extremely unhelpful. They offer apologies instead of solutions and would rather lose a customer then issue a simple account credit. Looking for a new provider? Look at Ting.

Pros:

good marketing, sim card tool

Cons:

cellphone service, customer service

Signed up on a Thursday and received email that phone line transferred on same day. At this point, while still on old carrier, half my text contacts could not text me (though I could still contact them). Tried to log back into Visible App at this, but would not accept password and had to reset. Emailed reset link would not work (which Visible said was a known issue) and it took until Tuesday to resolve that. SIM arrived overnight on Friday. Tried to use SIM multiple times from Friday until Wednesday but service would not activate. App still hung up on "waiting for phone line transfer" and customer service indicated they need another day or two to resolve issue. Taking a week to activate a phone line was too long for me

Pros:

Non - Visible never got it to work after 6 days

Cons:

No 24 hr cust or tech service. Coding/App errors. Not enough workers to resolve issues in a timely manner. Not yet a usable phone service

The only thing that I can say is that I was looking for something hassle free straight to the point no BS no extra stuff I’m OK with chatting and I needing an immediate response because I was confident in the service that I was signing up for due to it being backed by a great service provider. The fact that it was an iPhone only service lets me know that I’m going to get a high-quality service anyways because iPhones are high-quality devices. Very happy I’m not the type of person that calls into Customer Service I’d like to chat preferably then being on the phone being put on hold because the person needs to have their question answered before they can answer Mines. Point is if you know what you’re looking for and you want something at a good price but with great purchase without the household of billing an extra BS this is the service for you.Super responsive Customer Service great price great network coverage unlimited hotspot unlimited data I use Hulu and the spectrum TV app from charter spectrum and I see no lags or issues with my service some light buffering on the Spectrum TV app but it’s expected.

Pros:

Unlimited data unlimited hotspot

Cons:

Only time you will see anything slow with your services when you’re downloading an app but it only takes 10 to 15 seconds to download

This company lies and ties up your money and never refunds your money for service that they cannot provide! THIS IS A BIG SCAM!!!!

Pros:

None

Cons:

If you want to buy a pile of crap purchase this! Your refund will take a few months after they cannot provide you service.

Maybe too soon to tell, but no cons that I think of. I'm just a human who needs a phone that makes calls and unlimited data for work connectivity, hotspot, slack chat, email, ya know.. work stuff.

Pros:

Insanely simple process. Porting was instant. Sim card arrived in 1 day.

Cons:

None

I'm absolutely disgusted with the amount of time it took me to sign up. This is a serious problem. I

Pros:

At this point, not much.

Cons:

Slow responses Annoying Waits

Just had an awful experience with this company. I’ve been trying to order a phone and sign up for their service for over 5 days. When I initially checked out my payment didn't go through because my credit card thought it was a fraudulent charge. Since then i've tried countless times to get them to change the payment type or to reset the account to create a new order and after 5-7 chat conversations with agents and a manager (over the phone) they just simply said they have an internal security issue with my account and that was pretty much it, they wouldn’t be able to do anything for me beyond that. So that’s been my experience with Visible, it’s been an absolute and frustrating waste of time, but hopefully a blessing in disguise

Pros:

None, at least not during the sign-up process, which is as far as I got with them

Cons:

Sign-up Process is the worst/dumbest of just about any company i've had experience with

If you are expecting the world for $40/month you will be disappointed. I was able to eliminate my soon to be $65/month internet bill and combine it with my phone bill saving me $60 a month. I can stream, surf, play games do whatever I did before. And although there are occasional hiccups, they are less frequent than when I was paying Spectrum for their internet.

Pros:

Love the price and what you get for it.

Cons:

Internet can be sporadic, especially during peak hours.

I am extremely disappointed and I would even complain to Visibles higher up if I could but unfortunately due to the company's policies it only allows communication via chat. However, customer service was all over the place. I had to go through about 10 chat sessions before anyone could actually get something done. I initially signed up for the service, excited considering their promotion at the time but they mislabeled my start kit and I had to go through hoops to even get my money back. The package couldn't be delivered and when I went to FedEx to pick it up they refused to release it to me because "shipper policies" and therefore had to be returned to Visible. I contacted Visible and told them the situation to be told that upon receipt of the return, they will remail the device to me. I tracked the decide every step of the way and as soon as I saw it was delivered back to them I contacted them and they told me they need to reprocess the item, and then refund me, and then they will send me an email prompting me to redo the whole process. What a headache! I waited a total of 3 weeks for this whole process and still haven't received a new device. I ultimately opted for Mint Mobile. They have decent service for a decent price minus the headache.

Pros:

Price, Verizon's Network

Cons:

Phone limitations, Data speed caps

Placed order on 4/21/19 and now it's 4/30/19 and I've been told to continue waiting, the order is still processing. I was told 3-5 days after order date and I would receive my order... that's clearly not the case.

Pros:

Unlimited... However, I have yet to receive my order and I'm already unhappy with Visible.

Cons:

Horrible customer service and communication

They have no idea how to handle issues. Their chat cannot handle issue problems.

Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

Could not even sign up to use service. After entering all information when I got to transfer number it kept saying there is a problem.

When I first recieved my phone, I was unable to activate the sim card. My number had already been transfered so I was left without a phone. It took them a week to resolve this. A couple of months later, my phone service just randomly stopped working but I could still recieve texts. They offered no solution for 2 weeks, then sent me a new sim card. However, that still didn't resolve the issue and my texting stopped working as well. It has now been another week and they have not resolved the issue bringing the total time I havce been without service with Visible to an entire month. Everytime I contact customer service, they say they will email me in either 24-48 hours or 3-5 days. I contact them again when that time has passes, and they tell me the same thing again. I tried so hard to like this company, but they can't even provide me with basic phone service.

Pros:

Price

Cons:

Doesn't work

I’ve had no working service for three weeks, with the exception of a few hours of random service.

Have had my number locked up in t he porting process for 2 weeks even after I have asked them 5 times to cancel so that I could switch to another provider, do not do business with this company

Pros:

None, terrible company

Cons:

*Bought phone from their list, told not compatible *Poor customer support, no phone number to call

This company has the worst supporti I have ever encountered. They pretend like they know what they are doing but give you the same bullshit line that everything will be fixed in 24-48 hours, three weeks later I’ll still dealing with their lies.

Pros:

Be an evil way to screw over an enemy, just recommend it to them.

Cons:

Calls drop constantly and if you try to port your number out they will cancel your number so it no longer exists and keep your account open.

I made the switch and it has been COMPLETELY MISERABLE! Nothing but problems, and contacting customer service is an absolute nightmare... My typical text support wait is anywhere from 7-14 hours, then, you only have 4 minutes to respond or you're put back at the beginning of the line. The chat works similarly, but waits are still usually 1-4 hours where if you don't respond in 2 minutes, you're again put back at the beginning of the line. They're email support has been down since before I joined and just goes to an "unmonitored" email box, and of course, there is no phone support. at all. from a PHONE company (*facepalm*)

Pros:

Only good thing is the price

Cons:

Slow speeds Billing errors TERRIBLE customer service!

There is no phone number to contact customer support, and you will spend hours waiting for responses from their chat services.

Pros:

It’s cheap

Cons:

Terrible customer service. Terrible service. I’ve had no service in three weeks.

**To get a free $20 off your first-month use this referral code: tFgfn I have been with Visible since the beginning. They have HUGELY improved their service. They run on the Verizon network and are owned by Verizon so you are getting Verizon service, unlimited everything, including data, for $40/month! They are running a special right now where you get between $100 and $200 for switching to Visible or for buying a new or pre-owned phone through their website. My wife and I are both on Visible and we actually stopped paying for home internet service and now just use our unlimited hotspot. I've found their customer service chat and email to resolve issues quickly.
@seth_ I was so excited about getting iPhone 7 w/unlimited everything. It'll be my 1st iPhone. I popped in the sim card and download Visible app. I was able to logon to the Visible account on the phone. My phone indicated that I have Visible data/internet on my phone (upper left corner.) BUT when my friend called me the call went to the old carrier. I contacted Visible through text 99370 and waited for more than an hour but no one replied back. I tried a different way of contact by going through chat on PC and waited more than two hours w/o any response. I got an email from Visible two days ago that my old carrier released the # to Visible. In the past, my parents got me the Android phone w/unlimited everything plan but they always keep checking my phone. This's why I want a new phone+plan on my own using my saving and my allowance. So far, I am still using my Android phone with an old carrier from my parents. If I can turn back the time, I would not do the transfer. 😞 😭😢 Tell me how did you get a customer service rep to respond to you. How long did you have to wait? I have a screen shot to show you that they did not respond back at all with date/time stamp.
Horrible service. I was lured over to Visible by their $200 gift card special, and ended up with 6 weeks of no service. I wasted HOURS of my life on their stupid chat trying to get my phone up and running. So here I am with no service, no refund, and no gift card. Finally ported over to another carrier. Visible was nothing but a waste of my time and I fully regret switching over to them.
