Zest - Collect feedback recordings from your users

Hey Product Hunters 👋🏼 Zest started as a side project out of frustration building our last startup. Our users were struggling to leave feedback, especially qualitative one as the process is long and unpleasant. On the other side, as a company, we were having a hard time receiving enough relevant feedback to build a better product. So we built Zest to help you collect feedback recordings from your users, without having them install anything. Your users just need to fire up Zest, push the record button, and record their feedback (voice and screencast). Use our default launcher or build a custom launcher to power your in-app feedback flow. Effortlessly request recordings from users sharing a Zest Link.  Push received feedback straight into your inbox, your Slack, your product management tools or dev planning tools. Our two favorites use cases are: - Product Managers to automate feedback generation - Customer Success / Support so they can offer an easy way to their users to show & tell what's wrong. We're using Zest in Polar - https://getpolarized.io/ and pretty happy with it so far. What we struggled with was users reporting complex UI bugs that they had difficulty explaining with words. Zest is great because it enables the user to actually SHOW you what's happening in the UI directly and then send that in as a report. It really helps us keep in sync with our user base.

Barely took a minute to get set up and test using the link, it's simple and smooth and nice. Hope this might help us to help our early access users to share their thoughts without having to ask them to use their own recording software or type out long emails. Nice one :)

Like how you're closing the gap between customer experience and product makers. We see on-demand feedback/ support pretty often these days (hotjar, intercom etc.), adding audio/ video to proactive customer feedback seems like real value we didn't know we needed yet!

The question is: how can these talented makers innovate ways for the user feedback to be better than what a website owner could get through other tools?
