After working as an independent consultant in products, UX, and content strategy, I am excited to be working on Steering—a career design as life design self-discovery for the students. I work with growing product teams for their product strategy and product positioning, product onboarding and UX, and product content design strategy, and their marketing and sales narrative. I love to talk about the conversion-onboading-retention cycle, for positioning and design, and the customer experience.

Do you think early users care about design or just function?

I ve been thinking about how much design quality actually matters in the earliest stages of a product.

Some users don t seem to mind rough edges if the tool genuinely solves a problem. Others instantly bounce if the UI doesn t feel trustworthy.
