Thank you @kevinrose for your generosity with high quality wellness apps like Zero v3.0 and Oak .

@kevinrose your apps always look great buddy (love the homage to horology here), but it breaks my heart to see them on iOS only 😉

I've been using the beta for a few weeks and I have 80 fasts total logged. I love the redesign and the simplicity of the app.. especially the v3 notifications for "time left". I do miss seeing the bar graphs of previous fasts that the old version had -- it was a good way to see more chain of progress. I know the new one has that functionality but it's a bit buried.

@crixlet thank you for this feedback. We're taking it all in and will be making continual updates to address.

Way too basic compared to others out there like LifeOmic's LIFE

Pros:

Simple

Cons:

Too little functionality

Gotta say that this app is pretty cool. I just started using it and already impressed. On boarding was very easy and loving the illustrations. Will update again soon.

Great app. It has helped me a lot with the fasting. v3 looks amazing. Do you think the apple watch might be able to detect the fasting state in the future?

Pros:

Love this app.

Cons:

Nothing major. Keep forgetting to click the end fast so some days it goes longer than what my real fasting hours.

Mike Maser
Thanks for the feedback Niraj and glad you're liking 3.0 so far! We are always looking for ways to help automate the sensing of a fasted state. Nothing we see yet but it will be amazing when that type of sensor exists.

I use it daily to track my fasts. At first, I didn't have the reflex to use it but after a few days, it became automatic. Now I'm excited to see my progress and it motivates me to keep going.

Pros:

Easy to use, nicely designed.

Cons:

None I can think of.

I think it's completely unnecessary and superfluous app. We don't need an app for everything. If you're going to fast - just do it. It's as simple as that.

Pros:

UX is good.

Cons:

Don't see the use.

Been using 2.0 for over a year and have absolutely loved it even before this update. While the previous build was simple and useful it was lacking in features but was also free so it was understandable. This update fills in any gaps I had before while still maintaining the insane FREE price tag. Thank you, Kevin Rose, for not capitalizing off the wellness of human beings with your suite of apps like Zero and Oak.

Pros:

FREE! Well thought through, and purposeful design. No other tool available at this caliber and "cost".

Cons:

None.
