Hey Product Hunt!
I'm Jane, co-founder of Welltory. Today we're launching Real-Time Stress Relief – a feature that's been years in the making.
Why we built this:
Most wearables tell you stress was high yesterday. Great. Now what?
We spent years analyzing data from 16M+ users to understand something nobody else was looking at: the invisible moments when your heart races while you're sitting still. These "sedentary stress" episodes don't just drain your energy - they're accumulating cardiovascular risk over time.
What makes this different:
This isn't generic wellness advice. Every insight is based on YOUR personal data and powered by AI trained on millions of people. The app shows you exactly when stress is building right now, what's triggering it, and gives you timed actions to reverse it before you're toast at 8pm.
Often it's just: Move for 5 minutes. Simple. Measurable. Effective.
Our mission:
Preventive health through real-time stress management. This launch is just the beginning - we're working on helping people catch cardiovascular risks before they become problems.
My personal lifehack? Just laying down with laptop on a couch during Zoom meetings where I'm not the leading speaker. Sounds lazy, but it works and allows me to be alive for the next and more demanding one.
We're done waiting for burnout to tell us we've pushed too far. The data to prevent it is already tracking you – we're just making it impossible to ignore.
🎁 Special for the Product Hunt Community:
As a thank you, use the promo code welltory_ph_25 to get up to 52% off your annual or lifetime subscription. We'd love for you to experience the full power of one app for your health.
Try it and let me know what patterns you discover about yourself. I'd especially love your feedback if you're someone who feels drained by 8pm and can't figure out why.
Excited to hear what works for you!
Jane
@jsmorodnikova when you revert feature for export of data ? I really can't live without it as i use this data for my own model to train and predict my stress as well
Welltory
@strategyherogo We're really sorry to hear that something isn’t working for you, but based on our data the export feature is functioning normally.
You can access and download your raw data here: https://app.welltory.com/dashboard/

Can’t wait to try it and see how it helps manage my energy throughout the day!

Thank you! We’re really glad it resonates!
You’re totally right — you can feel it in your body when you've been sitting too long. What’s tricky is that your heart and nervous system often react before the aches show up.
That’s exactly what the app helps with: it detects those early signs of “sitting stress” in real time and nudges you before the strain builds up. A quick stretch or short walk can make a huge difference.
So happy to hear it feels useful already.
Welltory
@amy_ingram Thank you so much, Amy!
Hope the app helps you catch those moments early. Would love to hear how it works for you once you try it!
Querri
@jsmorodnikova Will do. Just downloaded it.

Welltory
@jsmorodnikova @amy_ingram Thank you!

@yana_semour We are glad that you visited us Yana, especially if you have already started to implement many things in your life.
Welltory
@nair0 Thanks so much! Happy to explain 🙂
We track several important markers to estimate stress, including:
• Heart rate variability (HRV)
• Patterns in your heart rate
• Movement & activity intensity
• Sleep quality & recovery markers
Welltory
@nair0 Thanks for checking!
We're temporarily withdrawn from the Google Play Store in Romania. Please rest assured we are actively working to promptly resolve this. For now, please download our Android app here.
We can't wait for you to try our new Stress Relief!
Welltory
@nair0 btw, it's good that you noticed this. Thank you!

Welltory
@yashimanskaya We tried our best. I'm glad the product is resonating with users. Thanks Yana!
FuseBase
Congrats! What are the simple actions that the app recommends to reduce my stress?
Welltory
@kate_ramakaieva You can change your body position, take a break, do a breathing exercise, do a short, intense exercise to raise your heart rate, or lie down or lie on your stomach. But the point is for people to find what works best for them. Everyone is different, and different methods work for everyone. For some, lying down during a call helps them transition into recovery mode, while for others, that’s not enough. Some people need to run to get their heart rate up, while others need a brisk walk. It’s important for people to learn what works best for them.
Welltory
@kate_ramakaieva As Veranika said, the actions are different and very easy, and you will definitely find what works best for you!
Welltory
@kate_ramakaieva Thanks for question, Kate! I think you already know and use some of them. We'd be thrilled if the app allowed you to expand your range of exercises.
Scade.pro
This looks great👍
These 100+ biomarkers what are they actually? Like HRV, heart rate, steps, or something more complex?
Welltory
@maria_anosova Hi! Yes, the basics are pretty familiar things: HRV, resting heart rate, steps, calories. The rest are combinations and derivatives of these signals that we analyze together.
Scade.pro
Welltory
@maria_anosova HRV, definitely. Its dynamics are the best way to see how the nervous system is reacting to load in the moment.
@maria_anosova @alexander_neshitov Oh, I'll have to pay more attention to this indicator. Cool.
Welltory
@maria_anosova @alexander_neshitov @siarhei_bachyla We'd be super grateful for your feedback on this indicator once you have time to try it out in action.
Welltory
@maria_anosova Thank you! We’re live 🎉
Welltory
@maria_anosova Really appreciate your question, Maria! If there’s any biomarker where you thought “not sure what this means”, that’s exactly the kind of thing we want to improve.
Videobolt
I’ve been looking for something that goes beyond “your stress was high yesterday,” so this caught my attention. How personalized does it get over time?
Welltory
@milosnesovic Thanks for the question!
The personalization starts right from your very first session, as long as there’s enough Apple Health data from your watch over the past ~30 days. One important nuance: if you sleep with your Apple Watch (or Oura) on, that nighttime data helps the algorithm understand your day-to-day shifts better and adapt the analysis to how you’re feeling today.
Hope you enjoy it and that it really helps 💛
Welltory
@milosnesovic I am sure you will find what you are looking for with Welltory. Your personalised data will evolve within the first month of use and you will get really helpful insights!
Welltory
@milosnesovic We really hope that you found exactly what you were looking for and that you will like our new update.
Welltory
@milosnesovic If you feel like you need more personalization, please let us know Miloš. We'll be sure to find a solution.

Welltory
@vladimir_lastovsky Thank you for your appreciation Vladimir, we prepared it with special care.
SocLeads
Congrats! Can it detect specific triggers like coffee or certain events?
Welltory
@gorns The goal of the tool is exactly that — helping you spot what pushes you into harmful stress and what brings you back to a calm state. We don’t label specific triggers automatically yet (“this was coffee” or “this was that toxic meeting”), but we do show you when harmful stress happened. From there, you can add your own context and start noticing clear patterns — caffeine, certain people, certain tasks, lack of breaks, anything.
It’s a mix of precise data and your own insight — and together it works amazingly well :)
Welltory
@gorns I think this is one of the best parts. Users discover wild stuff - like their stress spikes after certain types of emails, or that coffee at 3pm wrecks them but morning coffee is fine. The AI learns your unique triggers.
Welltory
@gorns Thanks Evgenii! Health data can be complex. If the charts feel confusing, our support team can help explain them, especially how to read the app's indicators and whether to attribute stress to drinking coffee or whether to pay attention to other situations
The term “sedentary stress” — is that something you came up with internally or is it widely used?
I’d love to read more
Welltory
@realkostin
Great question!
"Sedentary stress" is not yet a widely established scientific term — we use it as a clear, intuitive way to describe a well-known physiological phenomenon.
What it means in Welltory
This is a state where your body shows a stress reaction — elevated heart rate, sympathetic activation — but there’s no movement or physical activity to match it. Essentially, the “fight-or-flight” response turns on, but the body stays still.
This pattern has been extensively described in cardiovascular research:
emotional or mental stress raises heart rate,
the heart and vessels experience increased load,
but muscles aren’t working and don’t receive that extra blood flow that normally protects the cardiovascular system during exercise.
These mechanisms — elevated heart rate at rest, endothelial strain, metabolic spikes — are well documented in studies of harmful stress and cardiovascular risk.
Welltory
@realkostin @marina_hlf_kovaleva Thank you for that kind of curiosity Anton! If you notice any moment where the app is misreading your body’s signals (especially regarding sedentary stress), please report it via the in-app chat — that’s super useful for calibration.
