Votap lets you rate politicians and news outlets, building a private portfolio of who you back and who you don't. It's honest political data at a personal level. But personal political data on a shared or borrowed device? That gets awkward fast.
I somehow forgot we already aggregate votes for media outlets too. Not just politicians and individual articles. You can actually see how people rate BBC, Fox, GB News, NBC etc. and view their charts over time. So I m finally giving that feature a bit more love. Also feels like the perfect place to start building out the Home screen properly: a mix of politicians, news, media outlets, trending votes and other stuff instead of just one endless type of content. Turns out sometimes the best new feature is remembering the features you already built
