There seems to be no moat for AI IDEs, for me it's not a problem though! I've recently been convinced to give Windsurf another go, but keeping Cursor open too like that:

I was deep in bug fixing mode on @Unrealshot AI . you know, the usual why is this broken now?! kinda vibe. For the last 8-10 days, no sales, competition s tough out there. While working through those bugs, I started thinking about ways to make the app more unique, useful, and personal.
What if it could create photos not just of one person, but couples too? Real, believable couple shots from just selfies.
We have been experimenting with all the mentioned tools for over a month, and are now at a stage to decide to purchase a Pro account from any one of the tools.
We prefer Codeium right at this moment given it's likeliness to VSCode, the cascade feature in it's awesome.
Since late 2023, I ve posted over dozens of bite-sized Cursor coding posts on Reddit some gloriously bug-ridden, some surprisingly useful. The motivation? I wanted to prove (mostly to myself) that I could build small features people actually care about, and maybe make some friends along the way.
I run a small growth studio that started as a way to fund my obsession with building weird but useful tools. Playmaker was never meant to be a thing , it started as a stack of Notion docs, Airtables, and random Node scripts running on fly.io.
But then I realised: GTM teams (like mine) keep doing the same grunt work over and over, competitive digs, teardown audits, blog deep dives. It s not hard, just brain-numbing. So I turned my notes and workflows into something real.
Hey Product Hunters! Vibecoding is spreading like a wild fire and so many great tools are coming out. For me Cursor is still king of the hill but seeing Google releasing Firebase Studio can change everything. It does have a lot of limitations but in comparison with other available tools like Lovable, Bolt, v0, etc... it's free and it gives you 3 free workspaces. I built a few very basic apps with it and it's pretty good so far. Did you use it and what do you think about it?
I just deployed the latest version of the cognee MCP (Model Context Protocol) server locally. It's a standalone thing that talks to copilots and can actually work with your local code, notes, system files, etc.\
