Hello Product Hunt! 5 years ago, UserBit's first version was launched right here with a simple mission to make user/UX research tools more affordable and available so that they become an integral part of every product's design process. That launch ( I'm still very thankful for your guidance then), jump-started an awesome journey for both UserBit and I. While some things have remained the same (still proudly bootstrapped, still the same mission), UserBit as a product is a lot more powerful and is now actively being used by thousands of UX teams around the world. So I thought 5th anniversary is a great time to tell the world about all that UserBit can do for you now: Key Features ----------------- šŸ‘ A fully featured research repository * Gather and organize user interviews, notes, media, surveys, etc. * Participant management * Tag management * Transcriptions with speaker recognition * Sophisticated analytics * AI assisted tagging/analysis * Insight management * Customizable case-study reports šŸ‘ Persona tool šŸ‘ Journey mapping tool šŸ‘ User flow diagram tool šŸ‘ Online card sort studies * Ability to live-monitor sessions * Sophisticated analytics for results like similarity matrix šŸ‘ Discovery portal A portal specifically designed for stakeholders so they don't need to go through the learning curve of UserBit. Published assets show up in a simple scrollable feed where viewers can dig deeper and interact with the posts if they want. šŸ‘ Real-time collaboration Each tool on UserBit syncs in real time for team collaboration. There's also an integrated commenting system in the platform to communicate in real-time with team members or stakeholders. Road Ahead --------------- The past few years have been quite a journey. With the ups and downs, the only thing that remained constant was how much we were learning. Keeping our heads down and listening to our customers is what has helped keep UserBit's growth on the right trajectory. I'm going to continue relying on that so please keep the feedback coming. We recently started leaning more heavily on AI to enhance some of the user workflows and we'll continue to do that this year. We will also be launching some of the internal tools that we've created for business, so keep an eye out for that. Thank You --------------- I consider myself incredibly fortunate in so many ways. But this launch would be incomplete without thanking a few people in particular. * My wife and daughter (I became a father last year) - without my wife rallying around me, especially during the difficult times, I'd have given up a long time ago. When my daughter was born, it filled me with a renewed sense of purpose that I have immense gratitude for. * My team - over the last few years, I've collected a set of incredible people who luckily share the values and drive that a bootstrapped business requires. I'm really thankful that they joined me on this journey. * Our incredible customers - We've won here - the relationship UserBit has with its customers is something I could only dream of. I'm so thankful for all their support both as customers and partners. Thank you for reading through my thoughts and checking out our launch, I can't wait to read through all your comments and suggestions! PS: A message for my fellow introvert founders ------------------------------------------------ The past few years have made it very obvious to me that there's no "right way" to build a business. I'm really bad at building a personal brand, or writing threads on X, or starting a podcast, etc. However, playing to my strengths (listening, building, testing) and executing on my plan with patience has made me never actually miss the things I'm bad at. So, if you don't want to be in the limelight, you can let 'what you build' be the star of your show too - like UserBit is for me šŸ™‚.
Woah! 5 years, time flies, haha. I remember our conversation before your launch. Congrats Shay, it's awesome to see all the success!
I know! 5 years just zipped by. That conversation and your guidance really calmed my nerves about putting UserBit out there. Thank you again!
Thank you so much for your support! It's been a fantastic journey so far and there's so much more to come.
Just had the chance to dive into Userbit, and I'm genuinely impressed! šŸ‘ The sleek interface and user-friendly design make it a joy to use. The AI automation feature is a game-changer. What sets Userbit apart for me is its repository management and automations. It's refreshing to see a product that not only meets but exceeds expectations. I can already envision how this will benefit my workflow/impact my daily life. Kudos to the team for the hard work! Looking forward to witnessing the continued success and evolution of Userbit. Keep up the fantastic work! 🌈✨ Cheers, Rajveer Singh

Hey! Thank you for your support. The team and I have put in a lot of sweat and late nights over the years so it's really great to hear such kind words!

Thank you Garen! Appreciate the support. Looking forward to your upcoming launch as well.
Congrats! Fantastic UI, the colors are very soft, perfect for people who stare at their work for long hours. I suggest strengthening the user guidance, as it's a bit unclear what to do after completing registration.
Excellent feedback, Rick! We'll work on user onboarding to make the initial experience more guided. Since UserBit caters to a very specific audience, the onboarding is admittedly taken for granted as there's less education needed. But point noted.
Congrats on the launch Shay!
Thank you, Shahmir! šŸ™Œ
