@kronop this is super useful! It not only helps to figure out some insights but also to prepare a nice overall description for the pitch deck 🙌 Thanks for creating this and good luck with the lunch!

Hey team! Congratulations for the tool! :) It sounds like a great tool. However, there are some ideas that I don't understand. Do you hate interviews? So, do you hate speak with "your users"? How do you actually get insights from your "real" users if you don't speak with them? That means that your user personas are based on not real data from your product, right? Cheers! :)
Dan Kulkov
@rubenlozanome I like interviews. But I also know that 99% of Founders don't. This is how this tool was born :)
Mike Demko
@rubenlozanome @kronop wow 99% that's scary.. maybe that's why so many fail - If you can solve for customer pain at a reasonable price , you will get paid handsomely congrats on the launch
Schalk Neethling
@rubenlozanome I doubt that the makers hate interviews :) I would see this much like automated tools for accessibility. It gives a first quick pass, surfaces the obvious quick wins, and from there, you can dig in deeper. Nothing beats speaking to your users or using the accessibility angle; ask users using accessible tech to test your website or app. I would also assume that there is a cost angle here. Doing user interviews is not cheap, so for many early startup founders, having a tool such as this gives them something. Something is almost always better than nothing.

@mechanicalink yes I agree with you. But one thing is saying, "founders hate speak with customers and this is the solution" and other is "here is a tool to start generating your persona if you don't have one". Really, I want to know if founders hate interviews, because basically the foundations of Lean Canvas and User Research are for nothing. 😂 Is it expensive speak with your customers? I did many interviews and all of them for free because they want to help and share their ideas. However, if you want to offer to use your product for free for a period of time is not bad. but expensive? 😂
Schalk Neethling
@rubenlozanome I missed the "hate to speak with customers" part. I saw this line from their website, "Understand your ideal customer without running 50 interviews." I do not believe that it is meant to say that founders hate user interviews or that doing them is unnecessary. I think it hints at the fact that it can be expensive, whether that be expensive from a time investment perspective or real monetary cost, and that this tool can help you get started. "I want to know if founders hate interviews" I do not hate interviews; quite the opposite. "Is it expensive speak with your customers?" If you already have customers, then for sure, you have many ways to engage with them that will not cost anything other than time. However, this could be helpful if you have a sense of who your customers could be but still need to do the required research. I say that without having tested it yet myself, though. Sometimes I find these tools, and a lot of AI tools in general, to be a nice way to think through a problem. Ultimately, you may come to your own conclusions, but asking questions and thinking through the responses helps. " but expensive?" Again, depending on the product and the stage you are in, this can be free or relatively low cost. I have been involved in a product with a large community who would happily talk with us for free. Even though this was the case, we always reimbursed them in some way for their time. Some people find it easy to approach people online or in real life to ask questions and do some user and market research. For others, this is really hard and so having access to tools such as this can be valuable.

Great job on creating this tool! It's a game-changer for those of us who dread user interviews but still need valuable customer insights. Already tried it and found it indeed provide mr more insights on the thoughts of the target audience.👍🏽
Dan Kulkov
@lu_boolv spot on, Gloria. I hate interviews myself so this tool will be a perfect time-saver for me 💪
Brandon Harrison
@lu_boolv @kronop Didn't you just comment 5 mins ago that you like interviews? Which is it?
Dan Kulkov
@lu_boolv @brandon_harrison damn, can't trick you Brandon
Sveta Bay

Jonas Urbonas
While I wouldn't bet everything on the persona this provides, what this does in my case is validates or questions the user persona's I decided to focus on. Definitely see this as a tool that would be in my stack of frequently used ones!
Dan Kulkov
@jonurbonas thank you Jonas! agree, this Persona is 80% of insights with 0.001% of effort. it's a good start 💪
Jonas Urbonas
@kronop Well said, that's your ad right there!

Daniel Stuski
This is a handy addition to user research. It doesn't mean you are good to ditch user interviews! But it gives you a nice overview of the target audience problems, helps you prepare the right questions to ask, and filters out the audience that is not a fit for your business idea. Congrats on the launch @kronop and @basv!
Dan Kulkov
@basv @daniel_studzinski Of course! Trying to make user research a habit one step at a time. Thanks Daniel! You are awesome
Sveta Bay
@kronop @daniel_studzinski that's exactly why we built it - providing an easy first step and showing that talking to users actually gives insights! Thank you, Daniel!
Karthik Tatikonda

@kronop no worries!
Gary Sztajnman
Congrats on your launch! I played with your tool. Very useful. I love the design. However, I found it a bit too nice. It told me all the reasons why the persona would love my product. I found it optimistically biased. The persona has other top problems that my product doesn't solve and I would find it more honest to mention it. I will try it again
Aakrity Madhan
@gary159 That's actually great insight I hadn't thought of when I used the tool. You do want to avoid biases.
Sveta Bay
@gary159 such a good point. Thanks a lot for the feedback, Gary! Need to add more unpleasant truth 😄
Macloud Moyo
Congratulations on the launch team 👏🏿 I'm really intrigued by anything that attempts to help with understanding personas better. I just tried your tool and the first results felt a bit off because it felt like it was a generic off the shelf response. it mentioned my persona has this problem but lacked depth and specificity. I carried on through to inputting my email to get the marketing plan. *I work in marketing so take what I say with a pich if salt because most people might not feel the same.... I was expecting a lot more depth on these acquisition plans but these also felt like top level recommendations. This product is definitely needed and I think you can definitely start charging for it once you start layering custom indepth persona insights and data by vertical and/or company size or stage. This would give more actionable and tangible insight to customers. I'd pay for it. One man's thought's, hope this helps! Congratulations again 🎊🥳
Sveta Bay
@macloud_moyo if you already conducted user interviews for your product idea, it definitely won't give you insights you don't know. We made this tool for founders who hate (and never do) user interviews. That's a good first step from knowing nothing to understand something 😄 It will be a good challenge to make it useful for marketers also. Thank you for the feedback!
Macloud Moyo
@basv yes, I definitely agree that this is great for founders going from 0-1 🙌🏿
Kevin T.
If a persona is an amalgamation of data points discovered during interviews and analyzing hard data--like sales--what does your project create that isn't simply a fiction without direct influence from gathered information?
Sveta Bay
@kevin_t_ that's a good starting point if you want to learn more about your audience but haven't done any interviews yet.
Nacho Franchini
Wow guys @kronop @basv , you never stop surprising me. I've just checked this, and it's golden. The results that a few tests have brought are pretty much the same as weeks of research and user interviews. Congratulations! Keep up the good work! Thrilled to witness all your journey via Twitter!
Sveta Bay
@kronop @ifranchini wohooo, so glad it helps. Thank you, Nacho!
