Would you use AI differently if sensitive data never left your machine?

I use AI a lot, but I still avoid it completely for anything involving sensitive data.

Things like confidential spreadsheets and financial records just feel different. Not because AI can’t help, but because I don’t want that kind of data leaving my computer. And neither does my employer.

I’m curious how other people think about this. If tools existed that handled sensitive data entirely locally, would that change how you use AI for things like reporting or record keeping?
