why is finding the right ai tools stills so confusing in 2026

I’ve been exploring AI tools for a while, and honestly the biggest problem isn’t lack of tools — it’s too many of them.

You search for one tool, and suddenly:

10 blog posts

50+ tools

half of them not even useful

You end up spending more time finding tools than actually using them.

So I started working on a small project to solve this — a cleaner way to discover AI tools without the noise.
