Sentence Studio v2 is here

Thank you for supporting Sentence Studio last year.

It started as a tool designed to help us get good at writing with the 33 minute method.

I wanted to end this year with a significant update, and I'm happy to say v2 is here, and it's a tremendous upgrade from v1.

What's new in v2?

Beautiful Markdown. You can now write in markdown, and it's really beautiful.

Markdown Vaults. We went local-first. You can now save your work directly to your local hard drive. It syncs in real-time with tools like Obsidian, so your work remains yours.

Add Images. You can finally add images and captions to your writing. They're saved in a standard /assets folder on your markdown vault.

Unlimited Pages. Finally, a sidebar. You can now manage multiple drafts, pages, and ideas at once.

Publish Pages. Export any page as a .zip file, drop it on Netlify or Cloudflare, and you have a live site on your custom domain for free.

Total Privacy. We went local-first. Your words never leave your device.

Note: v2 is designed for deep work, so it's strictly available to experience on desktop/large screens only. Small screens are not supported.

v2 is and will always be completely free. No signup required 🙂‍↕️
