Launched: Stash MCP Server
Hey everyone,
We just went live on Product Hunt today with Stash MCP Server, and I’d love to share it here too.
What it does:
AI tools like Cursor, Claude, and Copilot are great but they usually don’t have the real context of your company’s docs, code, and issues. Stash MCP fixes that. It connects your existing sources (GitHub, Jira, Confluence, etc.) and makes them available to your AI agents securely, so they can actually reason with your data.
What is the difference in Stash MCP?
Most MCP Servers are like a CRUD operations toolkit. Fetch a Jira ticket, a document, or a file, etc. Stash MCP is powered by Stash itself, and Stash proactively finds every piece of related documents, past similar issues, and related code files for each ticket assigned to developers. That means when you pull context into an AI tool, you’re not just seeing raw data, you’re getting issue-aware, repo-aware, and doc-aware information that will be helpful for LLM to solve the "real-world" GitHub/Jira issues.
We’re excited to see how dev teams use it to make AI IDEs smarter for production issues.
Looking forward to your feedback and questions.
Thanks, PH fam ❤️

@lambersondev We’re really proud of what we’ve built. It took a lot of hard work to make sure this isn’t just hype but something that actually works for dev teams day to day.
