I believe there are ways to categorize and prioritize features, but it can definitely be complicated. One method you can use is to numerically quantify the "importance" of the feature (i.e. How much of a game changer would this one feature be to your users?) against the difficulty, time, or cost to implement. Once you've got that number, it's more straightforward to compare different features.
But, I do feel you on this dilemma. We often run into the same conundrum when developing new features for mDash, our AI-powered project management tool built specifically for web development.
Best of luck with all of your new features!

It's comforting to know that even experienced developers like you face similar challenges in feature development. As a beginner myself, I find your method particularly good. Best wishes for your work on mDash, and I will definitely give it a try!
