Of all of the markdown editors I’ve tested, Typora stands out above the rest. They have done a wonderful job balancing between simplicity and feature-rich. I love jotting quick notes in MD and Typora finally provides an easy solution for me.

@andrewscarbro Mind if we change the description to something like "Markdown editor and live preview. All in one window."? Typora separate's itself from other Markdown Editors (with the exception of Text.io) by melding the Editor and Live-Preview together. Which means you don't have to keep glancing 'Back and Forth' or have to stare at ugly markdown syntax as you're typing. Also there's a lots of features to credit to this app: MathJax, LaTex rendering, Checklists, Outline Panel for headers, image-embedding, line number toggle, word count, Always on Top, and plenty more... while still remaining minimal. Edit: Just discovered it also has automatic File Versioning akin to Time Machine. VERY HELPFUL feature!

Edit: - Still in Beta. I wouldn't hop on to it yet. I tested it out and I wouldn't say its ready (yet) for normal markdown editing Issues: Seem to be some issues with how Typora formats the .md file in the backround. - E.g: inconsistent number of line-breaks per list item. 3 spaces after hyphen for list items. All resulted in unexpected rendering. Keep your eye out however. When this app is ready...oh man...it'll be glorious day.

I couldn't find Typora in a search here at PH. Only found it by trying to add it as a new product.
