Anyone got this enabled yet? Would love to try it. How about a Product Hunt Early Access, @stammy? :)
Charles Jo
@stammy @dshan Twitter hid it well since I don't see it on mine.

no dice here....what say you PH? Has anyone used this yet?
Paul Stamatiou
@dshan @charlesjo It's rolling out starting today. Give it some time :)

How do I send a group DM to 40404?
Saul Fleischman
@stammy It appears that Twitter is not yet offering API access to group DMs - https://twittercommunity.com/t/g... Can you guesstimate an ETA on that?

Time for productivity! Now, just need a iOS and desktop Tweetbot update...

I can see brands and advertisers flocking to Twitter considering it's easier for great content to go viral. Excited to see Twitter introducing new features!

So excited for this feature! I like that it helps build my case to join Twitter for those who wouldn’t fit the power user demo. To them being able to trust that this isn’t going to be public and that they don't have to have the perfect first tweet to join - huge. I think my only other question is how will group DM’s deal with the trolls and spam? As a woman and POC that tends to be on my mind with a global public platform. One example: If someone is sharing profile links accompanied by “harmful language” are there systems to alert Twitter to "keep an eye out"?

@stammy @kevinweil Huge! Has been helpful for us to give users the ability to add anyone to the discussion, i.e., non-users. Introducing people that don't follow each other, fantastic. What about people that don't have an account?
Everette Taylor
Think this is huge. Many people in my circle still turn to Facebook social media wise when it comes to sending personal group messages. For my close knit group of friends, we usually use apps like GroupMe for private discussions but we can't just pull anyone into the conversation on GroupMe and we tend to be more avid users of Twitter than Facebook so this is perfect. I'm honestly not sure how much I will use the mobile video camera to be honest. But the group DMs are gold. Great way to send messages to people you may not have a super personal relationship with either.

How does the team see this standing apart from various group/messaging platforms? Why Twitter for this than Hangouts, Whatsapp, GroupMe, etc..
