Looking forward to seeing how well it batches websites together into tasks. How does it differentiate betwen the window being active and time spent on something? Really hoping it prompts me to log time if I'm away from my comptuer for a while. Lunch vs., phone call vs., table tennis.
I am currently a big freckle user for time tracking (toggl is way below both imo) and didn't switch to timely because I couldn't find enough differences to rework my work flows. Until now π this would be amazing π any chance to get an invite very soon? Signed up with julienlenestour.com π if I can get memory access today, I'll commit to switching to timely to track my time for the month of February and make a decision and review at the end of the month π (I use a lot of zapier workflow to synchronize time entries so switching does have some serious costs in time spent redoing zapier...) it looks fantastic and a dream come true in any case, congrats!
@jnestour Hehehe, you got yourself a deal, Sir! Check your email, invite sent now :)

@matmik thanks for that! :-) not seeing the invite right now but not sure how long it takes to arrive. Also realized that my email was stripped above. So just to confirm it's julien at julienlenestour.com :-) Deal then, and I am already busy cleaning up my Timely account ith my new projects and duplicating my Zaps to work with Timely :-) Any feedback I'll post here :-) Thanks again and good luck!

It looks amazing! I fell out of using Toggl, because it was a lot of manual work, and seeing that your app is available on other devices is a huge win win. Keen to check it out.

Timely has impressed me with their focus on the 2 biggest challenge of tracking hours, forgetting to start a silly little timer, and having to think really hard of how to describe what you did. Through the passive data collection (using app integrations like RescueTime, Office365 calendars, etc), you can reconstruct your day, sometimes even weeks later. They've added some big features recently like tagging and start/end times and have done a great job keeping the UI simple. Can't wait to try out Memory to see how it compares with RescueTime.

What a relief! I just entered my time in SAP CAT2 as usual. Took me about 1,5 hours for a month's time. I Timely with Memory, this would probably take about... euhm... a fraction of the time! Time registration as we do it now is an ancient holy grail which really needs to be disrupted!
I hope we will soon see features like connecting to Exchange on premise (I know, I know...), iCloud, ... .
Best of luck with the app! Even without really having used it for more than a month, I already like the idea very much!

This is great!

Nothing from any app I've had open has been added to Timely from the Memory on either my (a) work macbook (b) personal macbook or (c) surface. I thought it could replace rescuetime and allow me to integrate that with my projects but it doesn't actually work. It didn't work for any of my devices.
